DVD Concert Reviews_5 "The Rolling Stones Rock and Roll Circus"
May 27, 2006

The Rolling Stones host a Rock and Roll Circus with some of the biggest stars in "swingin" 1968 London. The Who steal the show but such legends perform as John Lennon, Eric Clapton, Jethro Tull and others. The show was taped over two days for British television but never was aired. Now it is preserved, in all it's glory, on DVD. The Rolling Stones perform 6 classics. A must for any collection.

DVD Concert Reviews_3 "Elvis: That's the Way It Is" Elvis Presley
March 22nd, 2006

Elvis Presley's triumphant return to live performances after 10 years of making movies are beautifully captured on this DVD. Originally released in 1970 as a theatrical movie, this movie has always been a favorite of Elvis fans. This DVD is a re-editing of that movie. The problem with the original was the choice by the director to include a lot of the "fandamonium" surrounding Elvis. This DVD eliminates the fluff and concentrates on the man and his music. Simply put...this is Elvis at his best!

DVD Concert Reviews_2 "S & M" Metallica with the SF Symphony
March 2nd, 2006

Metallica's "S & M." Collaboration of rock's premier heavy metal band with the San Francisco Symphony under the direction of Maestro Michael Kamen. The already heavy, melodic music that defines Metallica gets an additional punch by the added dimension of an 81 piece orchestra. As James Hetfield asks the crowd "Have you heard the one about the heavy metal band that played with the symphony??" This is no joke and it will blow you away.
