Redskins can’t score AGAIN, get swept by Giants
Once again, The Washington Redskins knew exactly what was at stake, and yet they still can’t pull off a HOME victory, losing to the Giants worse that the first time this year, 23-7. I can’t even pretend to think that this team has any chance of making the playoffs with today’s performance. As I type this, Zorn is making excuses for Suisham (former Dallass Cowboy) missing that Field Goal (high snap? Seriously?) Yeah, Dudes dropped some critical passes, but we just got our asses handed to us AGAIN with 4 games left in the season. The entire team blew it, AGAIN. The only points we scored were on a trick play with Devin Thomas – and when you can only score with trickery…your team SUCKS.
The running game was inept. The passing game was inept. The kicking game was frustrating to the point of broken televisions strewn across Redskins Nation. Did you wear yourself out with the extra point, Suisham? Because your ensuing kickoff after our only touchdown was to the freaking 16 yard line. And the punting – I think Zorn told Danny Smith to make #1 just punt the living crap out of it after another weak punt – 31 ‘directional’ yards just doesn’t cut it, Dude.
We got very good field position AGAIN from Rock Cartwright/Sellers/Boscetti (can you really blame him for the improper fair catch? He hasn’t played in 10-11 weeks for Pete’s Sake), yet we were unable to score points. Our offense Sucks. IT SUUUUUUUUCKS!!!!!!
