The Greg Knapp Experience is part of talk radio’s next generation. Each weekday, Greg strives to give the listener a different angle on the current events and politics of the day, telling opinionated stories and making them relevant to the listener. A former mental health counselor and felony probation officer, Knapp has an M.A. in Counseling Psychology. The Experience is well produced and showcases Greg’s natural creative talents and engaging style.

In addition to his radio show, Greg is currently hosting a documentary that will expose how the government wastes your money through earmarks and pork barrel spending. The film uses humor, entertainment and thoughtfulness to explain a complex issue. It’s the same approach he
uses everyday on his show to talk about the topics you care about. The documentary is scheduled to be in theaters during the presidential primary season and out on DVD in time for the election.

Knapp came to Radio America from being the highest rated afternoon talk host on 570 KLIF in Dallas-Fort Worth. During his five years in Dallas-Fort Worth, Greg was not only a ratings success but also received the Dallas Press Club’s Katie award for “Best Talk Show Host in the six
state region”, an area that includes Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Colorado, New Mexico and Arkansas, for two consecutive years. Knapp’s proven ability also elevated him to the number one afternoon drive talk host on Cox’s WOKV in Jacksonville. He was also the top rated morning
show in Gainesville, FL while working for Entercom’s WSKY-FM.

Knapp has been a leader in supporting the troops, spearheading the creation of organizations that sent care packages to troops in Iraq and gave assistance to Texas military families with special needs.

He has also been a guest on Fox News Channel’s The O’Reilly Factor, Heartland with John Kasich and CNN. In addition, he writes an opinion column that has been published in the Dallas Morning News and several other newspapers.
