Ivan is another Bay Area head with an ear for incredible music. His tune selection is always very deep and very eclectic but he has an uncanny ability to slip in something really funky when you least expect it, which makes for a treat with this particular podcast.

Ivan plays out regularly in San Francisco with his Delta Funk posse, works at the legendary record shoppes Amoeba and Tweekin' in the Haight-Ashbury and has both a podomatic page of his own and a eclectic mix project he entitles the "Hidden Cove" series. Hidden Cove is a series of blissed-out deep sessions of everything from house to reggae, electro, and soul.

Hello fellow househeads! Its been a while since the last update, life can often interfere with the best laid plans. In this case the podcast has suffered. Here's an early update! When I started this podcast I wanted to use it partially to promote myself and partially to promote MHYH radio and the Thursday night show. In addition it was a goal to showcase some of the fabulous sets from guests that came for a studio visit and live mixdown on the show. Andy London was one such guest, so gracious and a very talented dj. He joined me almost 2 years ago and threw down this amazing 75 minute set of soulful, grooving vocal house. I have no clue what records he was playing but they were incredible! This is some really feel good house music. I have listened to this mix over and over, I hope you will too!
