The Exquisite Truth Podcast Site

The Exquisite Truth is a weekly audio podcast. In each episode, we come together to discuss the nature of rational thought in everyday life. Your host is Kevin Pierce. Together with his guests, Kevin discusses issues of interest for people living a secular lifestyle.

This project was born out of a desire to open a rational, ongoing discussion about the question of absolute truth in matters of faith and religion, as well as daily life as it applies to politics and medicine.

Our panelists join us for each show to explore questions of religion, atheism, alternative medicine, education, and anything else under the sun. The Exquisite truth asks the hard question of both atheism, and faith. We look at the real value of a religious life, and investigate alternative modes of understanding our world.

We pull back the curtains from the world to expose its reality. We leave no sacred cow un-slaughtered. No subject is safe from our critical analysis. So join us each episode, when we seek out the voice of reason.

We've updated the Forums. They are now a lot easier to use. Visit today, and share your thoughts.

Episode 006 is now available.

We have the great fortune to bring you Jan Meshon from FreeThoughtAction.org. Jan gives an entertaining and articulate interview on his work on FreeThoughtAction.org's billboard campaign. He also provides some valuable insite for local groups interested in organizing for more proactive goals.

Our audience has been growing, and that is great news. The downside is that bandwidth has become an issue. If you enjoy the podcast, and would like to see it continue, please help us cover our expenses. You can visit the Exquisite Truth store, and buy something to show the world you are not afraid of the truth, or click the link at the top of the page to donate through PayPal. We have had a few donations already, and we would like to thank everyone who has contributed.

Episode 005 is now available.

We are constantly improving our format, trying to bring our listeners the best quality podcast we can. This week, we are trying something a little different; we have created serval essays to present in the show, and follow them up with some discussion. We've also introduced a new segment titled, The Bible Says WHAT!?.
Let us know what you think. We are always listening for feedback from our listeners.

We must be getting better; Episode 003 is done days ahead of schedule. This is our best episode to date. There’s lots of spirited debate, and the refrigerator haiku is proving to be a really fun segment. You have to listen to our vintage Thomas Jefferson recording, it’s an historical treasure.

Episode 002 is now available for download.

You can either download it directly from the site, or subscribe using your favorite podcast pod-catcher.

This was a really fun episode, and it‘s really exciting to see the steady improvement the production values. We particularly hope you enjoy our new segment, Refrigerator Haiku. Give it a listen, and go to our forum to weigh in with your interpretation.

We had a little bit of a SNAFU with the initial upload, and some of you might have gotten a corrupted file if you downloaded last night. We apologize for any inconvenience, and promise that the current file is good, and the rss feed has been updated.

We are now searchable on iTunes. Make sure to tell your friends to look for us there, and while you‘re at it, go ahead and leave us a glowing review. Our next goal is to get placement as a featured podcast in at least one of our categories, so any help towards that goal will be greatly appreciated.

We are presently editing episodes two and three, and I think everyone will be quite pleased.   Each episode represents an improvement in both content and production value.   Before you know it, we may seem to know what we are doing.   As soon as we have episode two complete, we will make it available through the rss feed,  and send out an email announcement. Look for it in the next couple of days.
