Wed, 28 November 2007 Small Wonders - A Juried Fundraiser to benefit Pharmaka Art.
Pharmaka Art is a nonprofit art gallery located in Downtown Los Angeles whose mission is to bridge the gap between commercial galleries and museums in Los Angeles. Pharmaka Art exhibits independently curated shows that address the pluralistic nature of the contemporary art world.
Small Wonders is a fundraising event where over 100 donated works of art will each be sold for a raffle ticket of $100. Each raffle ticket wins a piece of art by an artist who was selected for the show by the juror, Holly Myers, LA based writer and art critic. Raffle proceedings are to benefit Pharmaka’s 2008 operating budget.
Saturday, December 8, 12 - 6 pm Small Wonders will open to the public for viewing.
Thursday, December 13, 6 – 9 pm Artist Reception & Special Preview will be held.
Saturday, December 15, 4 – 7 pm Raffle picks will be conducted.
Saturday, December 22, 12 - 6 pm Closing day, final day to pick up artwork from show.
