Hey There, I'm new to the music industry and I'm promoting my music just to see if anyone would be interested. I really haven't done anything like this before, but I have to start somewhere I guess. I grew up in a musical family in Bathurst, New Brunswick, Canada. I've been playing since I can remember. I like to play anything from soft picking and smooth acoustics and voice, to course guitar, crazy leads and rock vocals. Hope you like what you hear!
I started promoting my music because the friends that have listened to my music told me they liked what they heard and that I should promote it through the internet. I never to this date got a bad comment on my music...(that I know of) I guess that is part of the reason why I started promoting my music. The other part is simply the joy of being a musician and songwriter and wanting to carry my music further, because I believe it has what it takes. If I didn't believe that, I would surely not be here promoting my music to the public.
I'm a solo musician/songwriter who is seeking a recording contract with an independent record label. I know I am new to the industry and would still like independent recording labels to listen my material. Even though I'm not established within the industry, I'm hoping that a record label might listen, watch and approach me with a contract.
I'm definitely not a teenager anymore, but I still am in the prime of my life and also in the prime of my song writing career. I have made better progress in writing music in the past few years than I have in all my life. I have musical pieces, songs and song ideas to last me a very long time to say the least. Production is not a problem I will ever have to face.
ABOUT AUTHOR I'm a musician who is 36 years old. I have 29 years experience as a musician. I have played in many bands, but started playing solo because I liked different styles of music. I play acoustic guitar, electric guitar, bass, drums and many other instruments. My favorite instrument is the guitar.
ABOUT SOLO D-DAN.JCH I chose this solo name because it reflects not only that I'm a solo artist, but also that my prime instrument is lead guitar.
