I recently used a combination of NextUp's TextAloud Software http://www.nextup.com and FeedForAll http://www.feedforall.com to create a podcast.

The content already existed and was essentially "repackaged" as a podcast in minutes. I pasted articles into TextAloud which converted the text to an audio file and saved the file as an MP3. I then created the podcast in FeedForAll using the step by step guide at http://www.feedforall.com/podcasting-tutorial.htm

Hope this helps others!
