The Cryptid Factor show

The Cryptid FactorJoin Now to Follow

David Farrier, Rhys Darby and Buttons bring you The Cryptid Factor, a radio show dedicated to the weird and the wonderful, and in particular, cryptozoology. That is correct, a two hour radio show around the search for hidden animals, who may, or may not exist. Intelligent interviews, hilarious anecdotes, music and plenty of on air banter in a very loose format provides the listener with two hours of entertainment (and a little bit of scientific knowledge). Expect plenty of references to the Mongolian Death Worm, Chupacabra, Bigfoot, Yeti, the Loch Ness Monster and the Fiordland moose. But also expect to learn a little more about the odd and the weird. Not limited to cryptozoology, sometimes they they are distracted by just plain old odd. Who can forget Farrier's interview with the man who had a sexual relationship with a dolphin? The guys describe it as their passion project. Their families describe is as "encouraging bullshit". Its hosts are Rhys Darby, comedian, actor and cryptozoology enthusiast. Joining Rhys is David Farrier, respected television journalist and cryptozoology enthusiast. Arguably the most enthusiastic as he actually went to Mongolia to find the Mongolian Death Worm. Lastly, Buttons, their best friend, and the only one of them that knows what all the buttons do in the studio. If anything goes wrong, it is probably his fault. He has four children, he more than anyone needs this.
