April 💐has been a beautiful month…

1.) New season. New birth. This moment with my sister @jessi.green was like a Holy birthing room moment that I’m still processing… There are moments where things tangibly shift… Where a new season markedly begins, and this was one of them. After preaching in North Carolina, my sister-in-law Jessi gave me a deeply personal word, and off the back of it, in obedience to God, didn’t just wash my feet, but “washed the dust off of my feet” from seasons where rejection had been louder than any victory. I don’t know that I’ll ever publicly share the fullness of what happened here, but I crossed a line - and we crossed it together.

2.) Celebrating my mom’s 70th while she recovered from hip surgery with what we’ve coined “ugly cake” aka Coca-Cola Cake (look it up, it’s bomb) and a family favorite.

3.) Watching Jesus do what He does as women choose to bravely step in, and get beautifully free at the Seacoast Sisterhood Retreat. @seacoastsisterhoodmtp (sorry for the yelling 🤦🏼‍♀️ I get pumped)

4.) Coming home after 11 days away of ministry, care taking and celebration to a clean house, good food, lit candles and the people I love most on the planet 🥹🤍 minus the tall cute one who’s back in NY.

5.)Celebrating the one and only @thecoastaloak & Charleston Home+Design Mag cover. 🎉

6.) We got another licensed driver in our household. 🔑🚙

7.) Sarasota moments with Harbour Church.

8.) Porch dinners at magic hour. 🌅

9.) NY with @zekeandrew & Valley Christian Church.

10.) Celebrating Tanya turning another year wiser… 🎂🥳🎈

How? Don’t wait. We stir up what’s already within us by choice…

- Thank God for the gifts He’s 𝘢𝘭𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘥𝘺 placed within you to expand His Kingdom.
- Begin to pray out loud, not in your head or in a journal… Begin to actively stir what’s within you. Lay your hands on your head and heart if you need to!
- Give God every room and space you’re in today, and be obedient when He wants to use what’s within you to bless others.

”That is why I remind you to fan into flame the gracious gift of God, [that inner fire—the special endowment] which is in you through the laying on of my hands [with those of the elders at your ordination]. For God did not give us a spirit of timidity or cowardice or fear, but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and of sound judgment and personal discipline [abilities that result in a calm, well-balanced mind and self-control].“
