Improve Intimacy with Dr. Fran is a podcast dedicated to educating and informing people on how to improve their intimacy and sex life. The reason Dr. Fran created this podcast is because she has a passion to move people out of sexual inertia, religious or not. As a former Roman Catholic nun, she has lived a life of great transition and along the way has unlearned the lies that kept her trapped in sexual ignorance for years. Having gone through the transitions of her life, she now has the scope of knowledge to address issues across the board, across all ages and all topics and she’d like to share that knowledge with you. After 25 years as a practicing RN, Dr. Fran earned a Ph.D. in Human Sexuality and is now an AASECT certified sexuality counselor and clinical sexologist. Dr. Fran is here to discuss common issues, give tips, discuss sex education and help improve your intimacy and sex life! Feel free to e-mail her questions and comments at DrFran@ImproveIntimacy.com. You can also follow Dr. Fran on her social networking sites located at the bottom of www.ImproveIntimacy.com.

HHMI's Holiday Lectures on Science The Howard Hughes Medical Institute is a philanthropy that supports biomedical research and science education. As part of its mission to strengthen science education, the Institute presents the Holiday Lectures on Science, an annual series that brings the latest developments in a rapidly moving field of research into the classroom. These lectures are videotaped and technical, but even the lay person can learn from them. Audio files are available, but you do lose the visual aids. However, they are still useable. Previous subjects have included, dengue, RNA, and the idea of quorum sensing which is how bacteria decide when to attack, or fireflies coordinate their flashing sequence.
