Ask yourself: How do I help my manager achieve team goals? Am I hitting my goals / KPIs? What am I doing to make my managers job easier? Am I doing anything to cause tension / friction at work? Either situation can be super hard and tricky. Who we associate with (inside and outside of work) will impact us as humans. You're interviewing, things are going well, you're getting excited. It's a great company, it's a great team. Everything looks good, everything sounds good. You get an offer. BEFORE taking a second to think about it, you say yes, sign, start your background check and are off to the races!! NOT a bad thing AT ALL if you did your due diligence. If you did that, amazing!
