A heartwarming kids movie with an important message? Or Bollywood's schlocky attempt at oscar bait? We feud, you decide!  This week, Vikram and Vidur feud over a homegrown entry in the IMDB top 250 - Taare Zameen Par (Like Stars On Earth). Directed by Aamir Khan, albeit with some controversy, and starring the most famous child actor of his generation Darsheel Zafary, the film really invites the feuders to go no holds barred. Vikram does not hold back on his opinion about the kids in the movie, his thoughts on dyslexia and its representation and constantly mocks the attempt at tugging on heartstrings. Vidur counters with praises of the acting, message and story. They can't help but discuss the director's oeuvre and compare to classics such as Pulp Fiction and Inglorious Basterds. Vidur can't help but belt out the opening Django song over and over again while Vikram hates how Quentin Tarantino both discovered and then immediately pigeon-holed Kristoff Waltz. Things heat up when the inevitable discussion of race and racial slurs breaks down. The boys jump straight into the most cinematic aspect of the movie - the final battle. Vikram brings up his issues with how the movie is more fan service than anything, while Vidur professes he ended up watching the movie 3 times in preparation for the feud. Vidur also admits he wants to grow old with this movie, while Vikram cant get over how each Avenger feels shoehorned in this movie. The boys find some common ground over their hatred of Jeremy Renner's character and how both of them loved the Cap vs Cap battle. Vikram brings up his top 3 biggest gripes with the movie and Vidur can't believe what he's hearing. He jumps to the movie's defense and the verbal fireworks ensue. We feud, you decide!  On this week's episode, Vidur and Vikram get their wands out to duel over the final instalment of the Harry Potter series , The Deathly Hallows - Part 2. Off the bat, Vidur compares this to Season 8 of Game of Thrones (rule of 8 or something), while Vikram praises how close this movie comes to the recreating the books. Vidur complains how the actors didn't "age" well (?) while Vikram compares the directors work with previous Harry Potter directors. The boys finally agree on something down the road, and that is Ralph Fiennes portrayal of Lord Voldermort (how dare you take that name!). Do you agree with their thoughts? On this week's episode, Vidur and Vikram put on their spidey suits to feud the soon to be cult classic Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. Vidur web slings out of the gate with how much of visual attack this movie is, while Vikram cant hold back at the high level of animation this movie achieved. They both understand this movie is made for kids, but somehow feel its adds to each of their points even more. Vikram loses his mind when Vidur keeps slinging in circles and they feud comes to a head when they both cant strongly disagree over the quality of voiceover acting in this movie. They haven't watched it in a while and are excited for the rewatch.  Vikram chooses to start off with a bold negative comparison - John Carter. He mocks Kurt Russell's name in the movie and claims volume 2 was a bad recreation of volume 1. Vidur protests by explaining that the film fleshes out backstories and pulls on heart strings better than volume 1. He starts splooshing over the songs in the movie and Vikram immediately begins to music shame him. Vidur enjoys the rewatch so much he comes out repulsors blazing, prepared with a fully scripted ode to the most popular cinematic superhero of our times. Despite being on the opposite side, Vikram has to give it up for Vidur’s songwriting and singing skills. Straight out of the gate, both of them profess their love for Nolan, which bites Vikram in the ass once he gets tails. But like a true feuder, he picks apart the movie, specifically the plot holes, which Vidur tries his best to help Vikram understand. That is followed by the worst rendition of Je Ne Regrette Rien (the song in the movie guys), which Vikram absolutely decimates. Vidur can't stop using the word inconceivable while Vikram can't stop getting annoyed by it. Eventually Vidur knows that Vikram knows that Vidur knows that Vikram knows that they will never agree.
