Link and Midna enter the Forest Temple in search of a forbidden power. Within the temple they encounter monkeys trapped by Bulblins, large Skulltulas, Tile Worms, Bomblings, and a frenzied baboon named Ook wielding a magical boomerang. With the help of Ook and the Gale Boomerang, Link defeats the gigantic Twilit Parasite Diababa and Midna grabs the first Fused Shadow piece.
Wolf Link enters a Twilight-covered Faron Woods and restores the Guardian Light Spirit. Link is transformed back to Hylian form, now with iconic green clothes, and told he has the power of the Chosen One. Link is tasked with finding the forbidden power in the Forest Temple in order to defeat the King of Twilight. On the way, Link is stopped by a golden wolf and is taught a new sword technique from a mysterious Stalfos/Spirit.
Fighting his way through a twilight draped sewer, Link in his new wolf form makes his way up to the roof of Hyrule Castle, meeting an imprisoned Princess Zelda who shares the story of Hyrule's defeat at the hands of the King of Twilight. Midna's plans no clearer, Link has no choice but to continue following her lead, returning to the mourning Ordon Village where he encounters the Light Spirit, Ordona.
Life in Ordon Village is peaceful for Link: days spent herding goats at the Ranch with Fado, running errands for Rusl, and tending to Epona with the help of the mayor's daughter, Ilia. But, the quiet atmosphere is shattered when Bokoblins and Bulblins capture his friends. Link pursues the captors and is taken by force through a mysterious wall of Twilight by a dark monster. Suddenly transformed into a wolf, Link is dragged away to a dark prison.

Kafei has gone missing just before his wedding, leaving his fiancé, Anju, afraid something has happened to him. Link takes on the case, grilling the residents of Clock Town, bustin' some chops, tightin' a few screws, greasing some palms.. You know.. Detective stuff.
Link trades the sandy shores of Great Bay for the scrublands of the Ikana Region. Lingering spirits and undead soldiers roam the valley and canyon of Ikana, each with their own part to add in the telling of Ikana Kingdom's long and bloody history.
Hitching a ride on the back of a giant sea turtle, Link enters the Great Bay Temple to find a whole mess of pipes, valves, and water spouts. With the help of his new Ice Arrows, Link finds and defeats Gyorg, freeing the third Masked Giant.
A near-death Zora floats just offshore. Mikau, mortally wounded by the pirates that stole the eggs of Indigo-Gos lead singer, Lulu, pleads with Link to finish what he could not. Putting the young musician to rest, Link traces Mikau's footsteps. Something stinks at Great Bay and it ain't the fish.
Today, Link basks in the glory of his victory as Darmani. Celebrated as a hero, Link is encouraged by the Goron Elder and his Son to enter the Goron Races, and is now trusted to carry the highly dangerous Powder Keg. The Powder Keg allows Link to lend a hand in clearing the boulder blocking the road to the troubled Romani Ranch, giving him a chance to help sisters Romani and Cremia, and reunite with an old friend.
Meticulously going from level to level, Link faces puzzling challenges and slippery surfaces, eventually arming himself with the Fire Arrows. Switching between Goron, Hylian, and Deku forms, Link reaches the top of the Temple where the mighty Goht is encased in ice. Link dons his Goron Mask, chasing after the Mechanical Monster and clashing against it with his metal spikes. Defeating Goht brings Spring to Snowhead, much to the relief of Goron Village.
