Jordan Gardner is an American investor who led a team of investors in acquiring a majority stake in FC Helsingør, a club in the Danish 1st Division, the 2nd tier of soccer in Denmark. The goal of the club is "to develop the next generation of young American talent." Jordan and his team are targeting young American players and looking to provide them an opportunity to play and develop in Denmark, and ideally, move them on to bigger & more prestigious clubs in Europe down the line. Jordan shed some light on why his group ultimately chose Helsingør, why young American prospects should consider a move to Denmark, their immediate and long-term goals for the club, and a whole lot more. The USA drew Chile 1-1 in the final friendly of the March window and Gregg Berhalter is undefeated in 4 games as the head coach of the USMNT. This match proved to be the biggest test of the four, with the U.S. getting out-possessed 67-37% and having difficulty breaking down the intense press from Chile, leaving a lot of fans frustrated and disappointed with the result. The result wasn't all bad, though, and there were certainly some positives to take away and reasons to be optimistic. We talk why.
