Bruce Fitzhugh of Living Sacrifice is a metal legend. He opens up to me about his motivations to begin his journey with Living Sacrifice. We share some laughs, stories, and Bruce walks us through some important history. We also discuss the various ways we have crossed paths, including that one time he managed my band in 2004. We discuss the band's breakup the digital evolution of the music industry, and their resurgence since. He gives a few pieces of timely advice for creatives, and explains why love for the work should be your motivation no matter your endeavor. Overall this was a fantastic convo with a good (and loyal) friend with some great practical takeaways.
