Summary: We’re Hannah and Kelty, hosts of a podcast and video series that inspires parents to transcend their parenting struggles with awareness, grace and purpose. The work we do is grounded in the acknowledgement that we have just as much growing up to do as our kids. We search for meaning as mothers by engaging with the most difficult aspects of parenting — basically, all the things that make us want to drink wine and hide under the covers. Upbringing represents our journey to get more comfortable amidst our most uncomfortable experiences, inspired by the belief that THIS is where real growth lies. The hard stuff is the good stuff! Today we describe the “why” behind the last of our three upcoming episode types: Empowerments. The big theme at work in our book features will be that *THE HARD STUFF IS THE GOOD STUFF* That means the most challenging experiences we have with our kids aren’t actually obstacles to our goal for raising wonderful humans -- they have inherent meaning, value and reward!
