Get Unstuck with Shannon Silcox | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 2384

When I took my first yoga class in college, I hated it. It was really hot, I couldn’t touch the floor in a fold, and I did NOT wear the right kind of top for that class. I remember laying there at the end of class wondering if I could ever be as flexible as that girl in front of me or if I would ever recover from sweating so much.   I was supposed to be a nurse & officer for the USAF, but after finding yoga, realized that was exactly what I didn't want to do. I still really loved science though, so I earned a degree in Biology, and now teach yoga, provide health coaching, & create online courses for yoga teachers.   IG:

The “If Only” Syndrome with Erin Ward | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 2069

For Erin's full blog, go to www.ErinRWard.com   Is it possible to find contentment consistently in the present moment? Is this not the goal of the yogic path, the epic pursuit of a life well-lived? Can one actually without moving to a monastery, spending all one’s time meditating, or cutting off relationship with the modern world, achieve a state of regular bliss? I believe we can. I believe it is a conscious choice to notice when we get caught in the “if only” narrative. There are big “If only’s” such as “if I only could figure out how to change careers, then I’d be happy” or “If only I met the perfect partner, things would be great” or “if

Breath with Alyshia Ochse | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 3067

Alyshia Ochse grew up in Northern Kentucky, where she spent her tomboy childhood playing sports and secretly writing poetry. As a true Scorpio, she enjoyed observing the spirited vulnerabilities and mysteries of human beings. A gifted soccer player, Alyshia competed at the state level starting at an early age collecting numerous championship titles with her traveling team. A bad knee injury in her senior year of high school abruptly ended her athletic career. With her athletic aspirations stripped, and the tragic death of her best friend, her identity was in question. Until she found pen and paper. She journaled every chance she had and started writing intense poetry that helped her understand the world around her and her place in it. Writing was a gateway for her —a way to stand out authentically. Her poetry won contests and was published in books. Written creative expression

The Hungry Ghost with Erin Ward | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 3215

The Hungry GhostI want to share a part of me that in hindsight paints itself with clarity, and only now, years removed am I able to send compassion and tenderness to the young woman in my memory. A girl and her dance with the hungry ghost....I was 20 when I stopped eating. I had witnessed peers in high school experimenting with different methods to find thinness, but it wasn’t until college that I turned towards deprivation to try to “fit in.” I stopped eating because I didn’t feel like I was doing “enough” to be worthy of love. ...I felt overwhelmed by my finances, the pressure of a rigorous academic course load, surviving in a new and powerful city, and my uncertainty of what

Time Vs. Love with Erin Ward | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 2147

I had the recollection of an airplane ride, the red eye from LA to NYC. The experience of the inimitable feeling of an airport at 6am. When you’ve switched time zones and it’s really 3:30am in your world. But then again, it’s all perspective right? Flying through the air and crossing a prescribed border, and someone at one point in history decided that it was now a different time. It’s asinine. Logically then – think mathematical proof – time itself can be rendered asinine. One cannot make absolute claims about the world’s participation in a phenomenon without there being cause for scrutiny.  Our minds cannot understand the complexity of what we call love, but our minds can equate time stamps as proof of meaning and connection.   How then, can we believe in a forever, if the system we created does not have markers for it?

NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) with Mike Bundrant | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 2019

I’m Mike Bundrant, founder of iNLP Center. I am an NLP Master Practitioner, IANLP Fellow Trainer and retired psychotherapist (NM). I became a certified NLP practitioner in 1993 by taking a 27-day NLP certification course from Western States Training in Salt Lake City, UT. Tim Hallbom and Suzi Smith were co-trainers then. I was certified by Michael Grinder after three days of watching him razzle dazzle the room. I’ll never forget that. I jumped right on master track at that point by going to Santa Fe, NM and taking a 21-day intensive from NLP Santa Fe’s Jake Eagle and Nelson Zink. What a meaningful experience! In fact, it was so worthwhile that I packed up and moved to New Mexico and joined the NLP Santa Fe training team to learn ho
