Another clerkship complete! Tune in as Abby and Luke reminisce on their experiences in Internal Medicine, Erik reflects on stories from outpatient life, and Chris shares tales from the Obstetrics ward. Many lessons learned to help them on their future clinical endeavors.

Time is flying by as the team moves through their first hospital rotation and starts their second one. Abby and Luke are doing internal medicine, Chris started OB, and Erik has begun is 5 month family practice rotation. They talk about if the last rotation changed their minds, spoiler alert, it didn't. They also revisit how much of a doctor they feel like after the last rotation.

The gang is back and busier than ever! Luke, Abby, and Chris enter reflect on their first weeks in their hospital clerkships while Erik takes a breather and enjoys his four weeks of vacation. Listen as they reflect on the past month's clinical experiences and their thoughts as they slowly narrow down their choices in medical specialty.

The team is back again to talk about their last few weeks of patient care. Erik is spending the month in surgery and shares some of his thoughts about that rotation. The rest are nearing the end of their family practice rotation and share some of the cases they saw over the last few weeks. They also talk about how their confidence levels are changing based on certain conditions and with being asked to generate more assessments and plans.

Another two weeks have passed and the team has a new batch of stories to share. Erik has taken the month to study for his Step 1 exam while the rest of the team is still working in family practice. Abby has her first experience in the OR and Luke saw his first critically ill patient. Chris shares how he was nearly mislead by a patients previous diagnosis.

The team gets together to talk about the past few weeks in the clinic. Erik presents a head-scratcher cellulitis he saw during his pediatric rotation and Chris introduces a new rating system to replace interactions with society.

The team is back in action, but this time, in the clinic. They share stories about their first time working with patients and what has been their favorite experience so far. They also talk about what they have learned both from patients and their most salient memory of the week.

On this not-so-weekly follow-up, the gang finally returns as fully functioning third year medical students. Gone are the days of studying and books and we welcome the future days of studying and hands on clinical experience (and still books).

The coronavirus quarantine has impacted everyone in one way or another and in this episode, Chris talks about the some of the thoughts his family and friends have on the topic. Listen and learn about how people are staying positive through these difficult days and hopefully you will be inspired by the valuable thoughts these people have to share.

The gang has completed their second year of medical school, but the fun isn't over yet. Listen as they talk about what it feels like to be done with the basic science component of medical school and how they feel with the dreaded Step 1 examination coming ahead.

Week 2 of 4 is complete and the team are getting more excited to be done with the first two years. This week they learned about bleeding disorders and also about whether or not they prefer taking two half-days off or one full day during their dedicated study period.

It is the first week of the last course for the team, hematology and oncology. The team talks about how they like the course so far and they also discuss the huge changes coming to the Step 1 examination.

The Skeleton, Muscles, and Skin have all been mastered! Following the final (and only) exam of MSK, the group takes a sigh of relief as they reflect on the past week. Everyone is happy to take a short break, but they are ready to get back into studying as they contemplate Heme/Onc next week.

It is grump week here in medical school. The team gets together to talk about what they covered this week and do a little therapeutic grumbling.
