Season 2 comes to a close with Justin having to choose between Brian and Ethan, just as the Rage release party takes off, leaving Michael caught in the middle. Ben considers going to Tibet for six months and Ted professes his love for Emmett.
Justin's relationship with Ethan deepens while his relationship with Brian unravels thanks to Michael's meddling. Ted realizes that his feelings for Emmett run deeper than friendship, and Debbie organizes the Liberty Balls in the Cops vs Queers bowling tournament.
Ben is hospitalized after suffering a severe reaction to his HIV meds leaving Michael to step up as his protector. Justin and Ethan get romantic while Brian is oblivious to their budding relationship. Emmett tangles with the Shickel family lawyers.
Brian's job is at risk forcing him to choose between his career and a week away with Justin. Melanie and Lindsay suffer from lesbian bed death until Leda comes up with a unique solution. Emmett's inheritance is burning a hole in his pocket which gets the attention of the Shickel family lawyers.
Michael throws a surprise birthday party for Ben, who reacts uncharacteristically. Tired of Brian's lack of commitment, Justin steps out and falls for a violinist at his school, only to return home to find his bday gift from Brian is an escort. Ted meets Mr. Right.
Michael and Justin create a comic book based on Brian, who doesn't share their enthusiasm. Emmett fights the establishment and is barred from speaking at George's funeral. Meanwhile, Melanie and Lindsay struggle to renovate the attic while Leda angles to renovate their sex life.
Michael fights with his mother about Carl Horvath's amorous advances. George and Emmett get started on their around-the-world trip, with devastating consequences. Justin tries to pay his own way by becoming a gogo boy at Babylon, only to find that the requirements of the job aren't what he expected.
Michael starts to ask questions about his unknown father and all roads lead to a famous drag queen. Justin is short on tuition and resorts to an edgy job to pay his bills. Baby Gus is having a hard time finding the right preschool.
Michael discovers that Ben had a hot hookup with Brian two years ago at the White Party. Debbie takes it upon herself to track down the identity of the twink found dead in the diner's dumpster. Ted aspires to associate with a higher class of gays, only to find out that it's a twink eat twink world.
The universe conspires against Melanie and Lindsay as their wedding date approaches. Brian and Justin have tickets to the White Party in Miami on the big day...will they stay or will they go? Emmett prepares for plastic surgery on his rump, while Ted and Michael bicker over a wedding present.
Lindsay makes a surprising discovery about her grandmother's orientation which prompts Melanie to make a decision about their wedding. Emmett propels George back into society and a meaningful social life. Debbie makes a shocking discovery in the diner dumpster.
Michael continues his quest to win Ben, despite his mother's opposition to him because of his HIV status. Ted has performance anxiety about his upcoming date with Thor and goes to extreme lengths to measure up. Brian has an intimate encounter with his mother's priest.
Michael continues to be infatuated with Ben, despite being turned down, which leads him to re-enter the dating market with others. Justin meets a guy his own age at a college party which brings out his worst Brian-influenced tendencies. Emmett has a secret admirer who ends up surprising him after they meet.
Writer Blair Fell joins us on the show today to discuss his time with Queer as Folk. Michael faces an avalanche of criticism from all angles over his decision to date HIV+ Ben. Will he, or won't he? Emmett's surging career as an adult entertainer causes tension with his boss, Ted. Lindsay and Melanie work on ways to pay for their wedding.
Ted's new porn company is up and running, albeit with a shortage of talent. Michael falls for a charming customer at his comic store who asks him to speak at his class, but reveals information upsetting to Michael. Brian and Justin negotiate new terms for their relationship.
