Meeting and greeting, a gifted seed, an untoasted breakfast sandwich and trying to shoot the top hat off a talking orange statue.
It's a Thanksgiving Miracle! All 4+ hours of Game 1 - The Night Blades delivered in one giant-sized, uncut episode! Get ready for next week when we welcome three new players to The Dungeon Booth table as the first episode of Game 2 drops!
The intense final chapter of Game 1! Limerick uses her new puppet to wreak havoc, Aerika reaches her physical limit and Thokk shares a key lesson with Ruth Willowmane.
The party finally comes face-to-face with the shadowy leader of The Night Blades and his creepy pet. Limerick falls victim to a crippling wound, while Thokk shows off the final (and coolest) monk skill at his disposal. Aerika channels her inner fashion designer and crafts an organic scarf to suit her particular aesthetic.
After cutting a bandit in half anime-style, the party explores down an earthen tunnel to finds a surprise that nobody, not even Ruth Willowmane, could have expected. Thokk and Aerika flash-back to their deepest regrets while Limerick rolls a nat 20 and literally transcends material existence.
Aerika Tastes The Stain and learns some new info, leading the party to head downstairs after getting some "help" lighting a torch from their new gargoyle "friend." A strange figure appears. Limerick rolls her eyes so hard she almost breaks her face. Thokk tries not to Thokk it up. Aerika gives in to her powerful feelings of impatience.
The party gets gargoyled as they attempt to break into The Lonley Torch watchtower, base of the Night Blades bandit outfit.
A massive wall of writhing tangleweed blocks the path to the ancient Elven watchtower on the hill in the distance. The party puts the clues together with the help of some high rolls and rides the momentum to spontaneously invent The Golden Tripod. Thokk says 'Farts' again and it becomes his canonical catchphrase. Aerika experiences an outpouring of emotion. Limerick reflects on her life choices.
Sheriff Ruth Wilowmane is 5 tankards of fermented goat's milk deep and it's 8 in the morning. The perfect amount of buzz to relate the history of a shadowy organization known as the Night Blades and the reasons why our party of adventurers have been hired in the first place. Hit die are expended during a short rest as Limerick introduces the party to her wordplay wizardry.
Limerick, Aerika and Thokk get their combat prowess tested for the first time and attempt to pull together as a team; copious whiffing ensues.
The battle takes a dramatic turn as we learn what these forest bandits are made of inside and out. The party meets up with the contact that hired them.
Our party of contract adventurers meet up for the first time in a carriage on their way to a gig. The chatty carriage driver gets the story rolling by conveniently sparking some conversation.
