Revisiting show

Revisiting

Summary: Revisiting is the only podcast you'll ever need for nostalgia. We're talking pink Motorola Razrs, Windows XP and Smirnoff Ice, all topped off with a Von Dutch cap and spritzed with Glo by J-Lo. 20-somethings Laura Kirk and Laura Gallop have decided to mine their digital diaries – old text messages, Facebook statuses, and emails to Mum - in attempt to relive those halcyon days when life was all about whether you had enough money to buy that Paul's Boutique bag. Each week, the girls also explore a cultural phenomenon from down the generations as they spin the Wheel of Nostalgia. What's it going to land on next? Now CDs? Pizza Express? An analytical re-watch of Clueless? The possibilities are almost literally endless, and almost certainly embarrassing. Find out every week on Revisiting, podcasting's most hilarious trip down memory lane.@revisitingpod @laurakirk12@lauragallop

Season 5, Episode 1: Dick and Dom in da Berkhamsted | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 00:30:39

It’s the start of new the season, and what better way to kick things off than with the nation’s favourite Children’s TV Presenters, Dick and Dom. This season, we’re taking a temporary break from the diaries to cover everything and anything that you watched, read, or experienced as a teenager, as well as hearing from the people responsible for moulding your coming of age.  This week, we’re talking to Dick and Dom about how they went from being two teenagers without anyone to dance with at the school disco, to being the funniest thing to watch on a Saturday morning. We’re also chatting about how they were inspired by a young (and dishy) Phillip Schofield, and exactly why Dick and Dom in da Bungalow ended when it did… To get in touch with questions, comments, email us: show@berkhamstedrevisited.com. This week we’re bringing you the perfect recipe for creating the best lads holiday - matching t-shirts, laughing gas, and booze cruises - as we remember when we joined the thousands of British 18 year olds descending on resorts across the Mediterranean.  Berkhamsted Revisits: Andrew Kirk | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 00:36:37

We're keeping it in the family this week, so our guest on this Berkhamsted Revisits is none other than Laura Kirk's older brother, Andrew. We're chatting all about Andrew's experiences of growing up in Berkhamsted: juggling being Head Chorister with getting to Sunday football on time, learning the guitar and forming a band to impress the ladies, and getting locked in his room by the German family he was staying with on a choir trip.  We're also finding out why Andrew claims Laura is their parents' favourite child, and if what we've heard about Laura's teenage years on the podcast is 100% accurate...  To get in touch with questions, comments, or if you kept a teenage diary you’d like to share with us, email us: show@berkhamstedrevisited.com.
