Your network is your most valuable thing you have. Why do so few refer, advocate, help or support those others in their networks. Surely thats the whole point of building up a solid network of those we know like and trust.
You see lots of people on social media simply sharing other peoples content. Whilst sharing is great, if you're not adding your own ideas, thoughts and opinions then frankly you have become a social media middleman. This is important as if you want more clients & more customers then you will need to get far more opinionated. Thats what make me think you're the go to person, the expert on that topic
There is only 1 end game in social media. Yes, there are those that are using it for follow celebrities which is cool. But for the business owners who are using social media there can be only 1 end game. To get more sales, more clients, more customers and more members. Too many on social media forget that. It makes them feel good. But is it actually leading to more sales. Thats what you must ask yourself.
Its easy on social media to get very disheartened. You see others getting hundreds of views of their videos, hundreds of comments & likes whilst you get virtually nothing. But, thats not the whole story. There may well be loads of other things bubbling under the surface from people that dont like or comment. These are your real customers & clients. Dont get disheartened, its tough having your own business.
Whether you like social media or not, you need to embrace the Instagram culture. People are non stop looking at their mobile phones, sharing what they had for dinner & other experiences. Instead of making it hard for your clients, customers or members to embrace this culture, you need to embrace it. Make it easy for them to share, and give them amazing things to share.
Far too many businesses are simply average or mediocre.. No amount of shouting, begging and asking is going to get them to share your products, services, blog posts and social media content. If you're product or service is amazing or awesome, guess what? No need to ask or beg, people just share it becuse they want to.
