Jones discuss the following: * What is the moBrella? * How did you get started on your path of inventing the moBrella and who are the competitors?  * What are the key success features of the moBrella? * Who are the potential buyers and users for the moBrella? * What advice can you give other inventors who is looking to patent their products or start an invention?  Maurice A. Jones is the founder of MAJ Studios and the inventor of moBrella.  As a young child, Maurice was inquisitive and full of curiosity.  He found joy in taking things apart, analyzing its purpose and grasping a full understanding of its functionality.  Getting a concept of these interests allowed him to focus on better simplistic ways of operating.  Maurice’s grandfather, James Jones, would share stories of how at the age of two, Maurice was not intimidated by size or age. One night, he was looking for a snack and instead of getting an adult to reach high places, he grabbed a chair and a broom, used the handle to turn on the light switch then grabbed the chair to climb on to reach the refrigerator.  He was found by his grandmother reaching for snacks. It was then that they knew there were no obstacles he would allow to stand in his way. As an adult, he saw opportunity in age-old inventions to be updated and integrated with our 21st century.  Maurice’s wife, TiAndra, remembers countless nights spent drumming up sketches and ideas to make his vision a reality.  He would wake up in the middle of the night to jot down ideas or to make sketches of moBrella; sometimes disturbing his wife and son Emmanuel.  Tiandra would try to usher him back to sleep, but sleep was not going to stand in the way of destiny. By continuing to chase those feelings, he has been able to see the inner workings of his mind to become a fully functioning invention.   Linkedin: https://www.linkedin.com/in/mobrella People also listened to this: Living a Purpose Filled Life: Make the Shift
