When students accuse administrators of censorship it puts advisers in a sticky situation. Many want to help their students but can’t because of their status as a school employee. employee. Student newsrooms are also being financially squeezed by the emergence of  copyright traps, where a photo grabbed online in violation of copyright can cost student news organizations hundreds of dollars in penalties.
