The film Green Book (2018) is the true story of Nick Vallelonga's father Tony Lip, who went on a tour of the segregated south in the early 1960s with pianist Dr. Shirley Green Book is written and produced by Nick Vallelonga, Peter Farrelly, Brian Hayes Currie. It is directed by Peter Farrelly. It stars Viggo Mortensen as Tony Lip, Mahershala Ali as Donald Shirley and Linda Cardellini as Nick's mother, Dolores. Director Peter Farrelly cast real family members to play roles in the film. Nick's brother, Frank Vallelonga, plays Rudy, Tony Lip's brother. The real Rudy Vallelonga, plays his and Tony's father, Nicola, and Lou Venere plays his and Dolores' father, Anthony. Nick Vallelonga also plays the role of Mob Boss Augie. Tony Lip went on to become an actor, appearing in many films and TV shows including The Godfather, The Pope of Greenwich Village, and Goodfellas. Lip is best known for his role as New York Crime Boss Carmine Lupartazzi in the HBO series "The Sopranos". Jeff Kober, a native of Billings, Montana, was born on December 18, 1953. Not satisfied with being a rancher, Kober relocated to the L.A. area in his twenties with the desire to become an actor. His first appearance on the small screen was a non-billed role in the 1980s series V (1984). Kober went on to supporting roles in the highly acclaimed Vietnam War drama China Beach (1988) and the short-lived, but now-cult horror series Kindred: The Embraced (1996). Following these series, Kober has guested on some of the most popular television series of the day. They include Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (1999), CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (2000), ER (1994), 24 (2001), The Closer (2005) and Criminal Minds (2005).   Kober's big screen career began with the film Out of Bounds (1986), in which he played the first of his signature nefarious characters - "Roy Gaddis", a small-time drug dealer with murderous inclinations. This role led to more film opportunities in The First Power (1990), Tank Girl (1995) (a comedic turn), Defining Maggie (2002), World Without Waves (2004), and the remake of The Hills Have Eyes II (2007), among others. Never one to balk at taking a chance in the acting field, Kober has also appeared in several short independent films - the Academy Award-winning Session Man (1991) and, most recently, Lucid (2006), another film that has garnered a number of awards at independent film festivals across the country. He has done extensive stage work, most prominently, as "the father" in Jenny Sullivan's autobiographical work "J For J" and "Defying Gravity". Being a creature of diverse talents, Kober is also a noted artist (he was responsible for the paintings attributed to his character "Daedalus" on Kindred: The Embraced (1996) and is the c/o author of "Art That Pays: The Emerging Artist's Guide to Making a Living" along with Adele Slaughter. On the personal front, Kober is twice divorced (Rhonda Talbot, Kelly Cutrone) and the father of one son. He has, at present, finished work on The Hills Have Eyes II (2007) (set for release in March 2007)-in the role of "Col. Lincoln Redding". Kober's next film was Multiple (2008).   Jeff has been in two of the most popular television shows in history. Jordane Christie is an actor born in Syracuse, NY, the 4th of 5 children to two high-standard Jamaican parents. Raised in Atlanta, GA he spent his early years involved in sports, participating throughout high school. He eventually got into modeling after scout recommendation. This segued into the courage to try acting. From there, he set his limits to the sky. Jordane moved to New York City, to attend the BFA Acting program at Brooklyn College. He pursued further classical studies at the London Academy of Music & Dramatic Arts (LAMDA). He went on to land leading roles in Off Broadway and NYC Fringe theater productions. Not long after, Jordane began to land guest star roles on hit television shows. This soon led to a move to Los Angeles, CA where he currently resides. He is best known for Atlanta (2018) , Underground (2017), S.W.A.T (2018), and Containment (2016). Jay Galloway born in Asunción, Paraguay and was raised as an only child in Atlanta, Georgia.Jay was primarily an athlete in high school and college. In high school, he was standout player on both Varsity football and baseball teams. He was also involved in the Acapella Choir in high school for 3 years, as well as host of his school talent show called "Regal Eagle." He made his acting debut when the movie "Trouble with the Curve" premiered in September of 2012. He also attended Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama, where he was a linebacker on the football team. Actor Austin Pendleton was born March 27, 1940 in Warren, Ohio to Frances and Thorn Pendleton. He graduated from Yale University. He later became an ensemble member of the Steppenwolf Theater in Chicago, and acted in several of the theater's productions. His first film appearance in Petulia (1968), a minor and uncredited role. Cocktail, No Way Out, The Bounty, Species, The World’s Fastest Indian, Dante’s Peak - director Roger Donaldson’s resume is brimming with crowd-pleasing Hollywood movies, some of them seminal. It all started with his first feature film, Sleeping Dogs, a tour de force action thriller from 1977 that starred then newcomer Sam Neill. That movie, which is finally getting a Blu-ray release, not only kicked off Donaldson's film career after years of making commercials, it also changed the face of filmmaking in New Zealand. Joseph is a film composer and conductor whose recent work includes original underscore for Oscar nominated, Clint Eastwood’s American Sniper. Earlier that year, he composed the music for the award-winning feature documentary, Kidnapped for Christ. His score for Judges won Best Soundtrack at the Miami Sci-fi Film Festival in 2016. He is also known for his work as a music editor in more than 50 feature films, including The Revenant, Sicario, Book of Eli, Prisoners, What’s Eating Gilbert Grape and Dirty Dancing. Joseph has given seminars on Film music at Heartland Film Festival, Nashville Composers Association, Club Cubase at Belmont University. He is an honors graduate of film composition from Berklee College of Music. His primary instrument is trumpet with a dual emphasis in classical and jazz performance. In 2015, Joseph received a BMI Film Music Award for his score on American Sniper. Joseph is a Steinberg Artist. Studied pre-law when he entered college, but then switched his focus to English and drama.Was the original portrayer of the title character in The Hitchhiker, an HBO anthology series, but the role was recast after the first season.Has written and directed several films, including the 1992 documentary Stepping Razor: Red X.Has won several Canadian Gemini Awards, including one for Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role for the made-for-TV movie Major Crime (1997).  Is a horse-racing enthusiast. Josh Mikel is an actor, playwright, director, and musician from Conyers, GA. A graduate of Florida State University's Theatre and Creative Writing programs, he honed his craft on the stage at FSU's School of Theatre. There, he developed a love for film and TV working on both sides of the camera, with the acclaimed Florida State Film School. A published playwright, Josh is known particularly for his theatre for young audiences works, "The Monster Hunters," and "Good Good Trouble on Bad Bad Island." He is the resident playwright at Endstation Theatre Company (Lynchburg, VA). As a director, he has created and animated music videos for the acts Against Me!, Waxahatchee, Jake Bugg, Neon Trees, and American Authors. Josh is the long time drummer for the indie rock band Look Mexico. He lives in Atlanta, Georgia where he is represented by J Pervis Talent Agency.   Meet Josh Mikel.
