The Magpies: A Blades in the Dark Actual Play

In the wake of Phin's departure from Duskwall and Needle's disappearance, the remaining Magpies turn their attention back to the Circle of Flame and try to find a way to turn the Circle's malicious attention elsewhere.

“In the end, that’s the point of it. To live loud enough that you make at least a small dent on the world.” The Magpies break into Ironhook, and many goodbyes are said.

When Phin's younger sister approaches the Magpies for help, the crew realizes that they have to accelerate their plans to rescue their friend. That means going into Ironhook Prison, and their only hope is to find a weakness to exploit.

Blaire and Seeks team up to find the source of the nightmares plaguing Duskwall's Tycherosi residents. The clues lead them deep into the occult world of Duskwall, and what they find beneath the streets will stay with them forever.

The Magpies, along with their new friend Needle, continue to explore the Nyamaska greenhouse. It's a treasure trove of wonders, but in the face of such distractions, will the crew complete their mission?

After two months of laying low, the Magpies are forced out of hiding when Lampblacks leader Bazso Baz demands that the crew do him a favor. With a new ally joining in for the score, the Magpies prepare for a heist of some rather unexpected treasure.

After learning more about the blood-iron ring,the Magpies discover they need to enter the Deathlands to claim it. There are people in the city willing to get them there, but nothing in Duskwall is free...

In between scores, the Magpies--along with the rest of Duskwall--are celebrating the holiday of Doskvorn. On a day without crimes or danger, the Magpies wander through Nightmarket's street festival and take a chance to reconnect. And play a lot of carnival games.
