Drinking Socially - The Official Untappd Podcast

This episode covers 2 very different Saisons, our last update before the Seven Cities Tour is locked in, and a very interesting opinion article on the end of craft beer. (Not really, but it's a great article, and Harrison and Jon editorialize it) Harrison learns a little about beets, Jon learns a little about Harrison’s donut compulsions and we have a lot of fun drinking together.

We're really excited about this week! We have real donuts to eat with our donut beer and a really unique hemp-infused beer with collaboration efforts from North Carolina's first female hemp farmer. We keep you informed on beer trends analyzed from the Brewers Associations mid-year review, and provide an exciting update on Untappd re-launch of the Seven Cities Tour!

We get a little distracted by the story of these beers as soon as they got opened. This is the first time we've experienced a beer from Black Project, also the first time we've had a Wild beer on Season 2. As we navigate through these 2 beautiful beers, Harrison will also inform us on the History and relevance of a Kolsch and why it should be on your Summer to-do list.

We were fortunate enough to have 2 of Russian River's most reviewed Beers on Untappd. These things helped shift the way we think of Craft Beer years ago, and we dive into details about that, and how they've held up over time.

This week we some great insight into how Harrison spends the 4th of July, and get nostalgic about the Holiday. We'll also have another "Beer Story" from Harrison and an update on Beer Festival season (Summer).
