Does it ever feel like one moment has defined your life? Do you identify yourself by just one thing that happened, one point on the timeline? Hear how God operates on a different scale in our lives in this message from guest speaker Kenneth Wagner.
At Resonate we believe that God wants to do amazing things in Indianapolis, and we want to let God use us to turn this city upside down. Check out this special service to hear about what God has already done through us in our city, and what’s coming next.
Do you want to win with your money? Of course you do! But do you really believe it can happen, or does it seem like it would take a miracle to put your finances in order? Guest speaker Joseph Sangl breaks down what can happen when we really trust God with our money.
It’s real easy to start things, isn’t it? And if we always got the results we wanted right away, maybe it’d be easy to finish things too. But we all know from experience, that’s not always how it works. What happens when we start doing the things we know we should, but nothing seems to change?
For those of us who follow Jesus, it’s easy to do things his way… some of the time. We choose to follow God sometimes and think it’s enough. We come to a fork in the road between our desires and God’s plans and it’s anyone’s guess which way we’ll go. But maybe the best decision we can make is stop deciding, to quit wavering between two opinions and make a choice: are we going with God, or with ourselves?
God’s provision sounds pretty nice, doesn’t it? If we’re honest, we’d all like God to provide for us when we feel like we don’t have enough, especially with out money. Over and over God promises to provide for all our needs, but do we sometimes hold on to what we have so tightly that we can’t receive the greater provision God wants to give us?
Money is always on our minds. We think about it, we stress over it, we even fight about it. For many of us, our bank accounts are very near the top of our priorities. The way we live with our wallets shows what we really believe, and what really is the most important thing in our lives.
Since relaunching two years ago, Resonate has seen God work in our story in incredible ways. Take a look at our story so far in this special service and see that the best indicator of God’s future faithfulness is his past provision.
It’s one thing to talk about how to live a life with no regrets, but let’s be honest – that’s not what life looks like for most of us. Maybe you made a decision in the past that you shouldn’t have, or maybe something was done to you and now you’re living with that pain. It’s easy to talk about not making decisions now that we’ll regret later, but what do we do when we’re already dealing with regrets from our past?
Have you ever ended up in a bad situation and asked yourself, “How did I get here?” You probably didn’t wake up one morning and decide “I’m going to ruin my life today.” But we all end up in situations we regret because of our decisions, and those decisions start with just the smallest compromises.
Have you ever made a decision you regret? Maybe you regretted it immediately, or maybe it came back to bite you much later, but we’ve all certainly made decisions that we wish we could have made differently. This week, Davey breaks down some very practical steps on how to consistently make decisions we won’t regret.
In this season of making and breaking New Year’s resolutions, it’s almost impossible to not think back on previous years and all the things we wish were different. It seems like regrets are inevitable, just a part of life year after year. But what if that’s not quite true? What if it’s possible to have a year and ultimately a life of no regrets?
In this special message, Davey breaks down some of the most important things that Jesus has taught us in 2016, and what they mean for the future of Resonate Church.
Other than raising from the dead, what would you say is the greatest miracle you’ve ever heard that Jesus performed? Healing the sick, giving sight to the blind, making the lame walk? While those are all powerful, there is one miracle that goes beyond them. The greatest miracle Jesus performed in the Bible is one he wants to do again for you today, and one that can change your life for all eternity.
When a group brought their paralyzed friend to Jesus to be healed, they immediately faced an obstacle. They couldn’t get through the crowd to Jesus with their friend on a stretcher. Unwilling to give up, these men did whatever it took to get their friend to Jesus. What if we were the kind of people who did whatever it took to get our friends to Jesus, and had the faith to see him change their lives?
