After an unexpected couple of weeks off, Episode 37 of The Revengers: The Official Movie & TV Podcast of Revenge of The Fans is here! For the final episode of 2018, the RTF Trinity unites once more to talk about what's going on out there. From MFR's non-spoiler thoughts on Aquaman, to the trio revealing their Best and Most Disappointing movie experiences of the year, to a long form discussion on the spotlight be shone onto a controversial topic thanks to Bohemian Rhapsody, there's a lot to discuss here. Is it still possible to separate the art from the artist in 2018? Are we as a society still willing to say "Hey, I may think you're despicable. And I'd never want to shake your hand. But I love what you create and will continue to support that, in spite of what I think of you"? Traditionally speaking, we've always been able to do that. Yet that seems to be evolving, so MFR, Vanessa, and Brett share where they personally stand on the Court of Public Opinion and the way folks are choosing to dispatch of perceived evildoers. Aside from that heady discussion, The Revengers also touch on all kinds of current topics. From giving Vanessa, who is of Singaporean heritage, a chance to react to Crazy Rich Asians bombing in China and Marvel developing a Shang Chi film, to discussing what they've been watching lately (including some initial thoughts from MFR about the recent Arrowverse crossovers), and their wishes for you- their wonderful listeners- as we prepare to ring in the new year, it's a loaded conversation. And be sure to stay until the very end for bloopers!
