The Yankees pulled off a big series win in Cleveland thanks to a clutch ninth-inning hit by Oswaldo Cabrera and a game-tying home run by Franchy Cordero in the seventh inning. Aaron Boone was ejected in the first inning after a controversial decision by the umpires and thankfully, the game didn’t go sideways after that. Clarke Schmidt didn’t factor into the decision but he lasted four innings this time out. Better but Stacey didn’t have to eat her hat. It seems Clay Holmes is the closer now and on Wendesday, he made things interesting when he loaded the bases with two outs and the Yankees only up a run. Thankfully, he struck out Ahmed Rosario to end the game and the Yankees won their fourth series of the year. They return home to face the Twins in a four-game series starting on Thursday and we preview the pitching matchups.
