Then you have guys who were never supposed to sniff the show become All-Stars. Mark Conner's job entails him traveling all over the country trying to find a "diamond in the rough". Increasing exit velocity will raise your average and increase your chance for success at the plate. Chad Longworth breaks down how to increase your exit velocity in this episode. "For ever 5% increase in exit velocity your average will go up 50 points of balls put in play" Chad does overload underload training for his athletes and gives examples of how this can affect exit velocity over a period of time. I was able to take a tour and check out the baseball facilities at UC and they are second to none. . We also get into high school recruiting and talk about the best ways of getting seen.
