So much for the new years resolution...But the podcast lives, everyone. Thank you for your patience. Tune in this month for a fragmented collection of interviews captured in parks, studios and noisy bars across three different continents over 4 months. Including one from Scott Owen, legendary bass player of The Living End as he recounts his tale of trying to become our manager a few years ago. Please enjoy!
Better late than never; from the cold, dark rooms of Berlin, it's the first Parcels Talking of the new year and certainly not the last. This month you get to meet two old Aussie friends of ours who're soon to be yours as well! Louie and Noah prank more oblivious French journalists and of course a solid burger review from Brighton's finest institution of Burgers.
Just a short apology this month. Sorry about the radio silence! Patrick and I have had a well deserved lovely week in Brunswick Heads eating garlic prawns and drinking fruity beers. Happy Holidays and stay tuned for another massive year x
Straight from the road, here's a snapshot of the last month from ya bois. Emails with the subject line 'Parcels is super Love-Guru' will get priority attention for next month! Send us your relationship issues. We met so many podcast fans in the UK, God bless the mother country and thank you for coming to the shows. Tune in next month for the messy end of this big long tour and the BurgerBrothers review from Brighton.
What a month! We've got storytelling from Conan's studio in Hollywood, we've got mindless rambling from the Deutsche autobahn. With so much travelling our poor little podcast mics are getting battered and buzzy but through the TERRIBLE audio quality you might be able to hear some VERY HIGH quality talking content. It's a long one as well, you could listen to nearly 2 mins a day and finish just in time for the next one.
We're uploading this from a dodgy apartment in LA! Louie's enthusiasm is scarcely mustered for the narration this month with Noah away chasing his passport around Europe and a chronic flu setting in. Luckily the content itself is explosive; interviews from Mac Demarco and Glass Animals as well as a vegan masterchef challenge for Toto.
It almost faded out of relevance but Parcels Talking always manages to claw its way back just in time! The summer festival season is taking its toll on the boys as they struggle to remain coherent for our international listeners. This episode features the first ever recordings of 'Müntard/Guten Tag', coming at your ears whether you like it or not!
Despite immense touring and general exhaustion, the Podcast is back and better than ever and with palpable enthusiasm to boot. Big things loom on the horizon for Parcels HQ and yet their encounters on the streets of Berlin continue to consist of the crazy homeless variety rather than fan recognition.
The Parcels Podcast is slightly legitimised with the addition of a narrator. The band talks nonsense and reviews things they've consumed during recent long van rides to the south of France.
Louie interviews everyone else in the band about playing in Japan and attempts to make the first podcast.
