From  serious topics like: pushing for a promotion, working with women, dealing with ‘identity crisis’ as Asian-Americans, to light-hearted ones like: are we balding, what type of fruit are we?? A topic that is very relevant for young working professionals, especially those living in major cities (like LA, SF, or NY) where social demands can be very high, is work life balance. How are we expected to not only maintain, but “succeed” in all of these aspects without burning out? From jobs, to relationships, to friends, time with family, side projects, and let's not forget self care! As Asian women, we typically feel pressures to conform to society’s westernized beauty standards based on gender and race.
