Fantasy Football Almost Daily
Summary: It's the show that the people in your fantasy football league DON'T want you to listen to. This is Fantasy Football Almost Daily. FFAD is the mid-week counterpart to Fantasy Football Weekly, the world's longest running fantasy sports radio show (since 1994). Paul Charchian (a fantasy sports Hall of Famer), Christian Peterson, Mat Harrison and Brian Johnson bring you weekly waiver wire targets on Tuesday, the PANIC ROOM game show on Wednesday and a daily fantasy sports breakdown on Friday. With a combined five decades in the fantasy sports industry, the FFAD crew knows and distributes the info you need to dominate your league.
Who are the guys going "super to bat" for in the current ADP rankings? Who is ranked way too high? Charch, Brian and 2V discuss. Yeah we know it's early, but ADP can be corrected and we're trying to convince the masses about a handful of players.
Charch is back on FFAD, and he discusses with Mat and 2V whether or not you should stick a fork in Do The Opposite. Wait, you don't know what Do The Opposite is? Well it's very similar to this "Zero RB" strategy, but it's a decade older and more flexible for you to zig when others zag. The premise is to spend your top 4 picks on WR/TE/QB and draft many RBs later.
Mat, Fish and 2V give you a list of all the best rookies and if they will make a dent in your fantasy league. They examine both the redraft Empire and dynasty league values for each, and throw in the pivotal "where do you draft Marshawn Lynch in a rookie draft" question.
You can find the link to the Fanball Fantasy Football Podcast here. Go check out our second addition to the Fanball Podcast Network here. Sure, you'll still hear the FFAD podcast on an almost daily basis, but now you get to gather some additional intel from 2V, Fish and Jay Clemons.
It's been a long hiatus, but the FFAD boys are back with a new mock draft. We at SportsHub recently completed a mock and we're rip-snortin' ready to talk about it on a new FFAD podcast. After David Johnson goes first in the draft, there are a lot of decisions that need to be made. 2V is in a mini-stinkhole at #3 and Mat and Brian trade off on sniping each other's plays in the middle of the draft.
We talk the Conference Championships with Mat, Brian and 2V, as well as DraftKings, NFFC and CDM strategy. A two game slate is hard to snuff out sometimes, so you need to know which players to fade and which to invest in for a big day at the bank. We go through both of the games and break down how to treat them in each of the three formats. And as always, Mat makes a DK lineup.
Mat, Brian and 2V discuss Week 2 of the Playoffs, or is it Week 18, well we know it's the Divisional Round and it's time to make some difficult decisions in the CDM Play 3 and the NFFC Playoff Hold 'Em contests. The guys preview all four games and give some advice on who they would want to use, lose and choose as a contrarian play, also we find out what kind of players Brian is gravitating towards.
There's just 4 games this weekend, but that doesn't mean you can't haul in a big prize on DraftKings. Mat and Brian discuss strategy and their favorite plays on each squad.
Mat, Brian and the great John Tuvey preview the playoff slate and our season-long playoff rankings, we also cover how to play a few different styles of contests. You can play along with the rankings by entering a contest that we partner with, either with the NFFC Playoff Hold 'Em or the CDM Play 3 contests. Click either of those links to play.
Week 17 fantasy football is an absolute crapshoot. Who is playing? Who is sitting? Which games have meaning? Which games might end in 73 consecutive kneel downs and a 0-0 tie? The guys go game-by-game and figure out who you can feel somewhat safe in playing and why.
It's one of those weird holiday weeks where half of the people are working and the other half are doing things at different times of the week. But screw that, why should we change? We're here to give you our standard Friday podcast on a Friday. Christmas be damned! There's money to be won.
There's only a few guys on the list this week, but that means that you get to focus all of your efforts and remaining FAAB on these hand-picked individuals.
Mat, Brian and Minneapolis Ace highlight the chalk and the walk from Week 15 of DraftKings. The boys are off to Hollywood to compete in the big FanDuel Million Dollar championship on Friday, so we decided to give you your DraftKings podcast a day early. CP is still down with the sickness, we hope he feels well soon enough.
There should only be two weeks left in your fantasy season, but that doesn't mean that you don't want to add a free agent or two. Today Charch, Mat and Brian discuss a couple of runners and a couple of receivers that could help you win your fantasy championship, or prevent someone else from doing that. We also give you a good sense of how much of your remaining budget you should blow on Kenneth Dixon and Bilal Powell.
Mat, CP, Brian and Mpls Ace cover all 14 games in the Sunday slate of DK contests. Who is the chalk? Who should you fade? Who should you stack? Will the weather factor in? All this plus some brilliant ads for you to listen to. Come get it.
