EMP Truth: What You ACTUALLY Need to Know! (Video) | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 1:27:58

In today's digital era, the specter of electromagnetic pulse (EMP) threats represents a chilling potential to fundamentally disrupt our interconnected society. EMPs, a byproduct of nuclear detonations, hold the power to disable electronics, cripple the power grid, and plunge modern civilization into chaos. This comprehensive exploration dives into the nature of EMPs, their historical context, operational mechanics, potential impacts on humans and infrastructure, and, crucially, strategies for mitigation and preparedness. This article draws upon insights from my conversation with Dr. Arthur Bradley, an authority on electromagnetic pulse (EMP) phenomena. With a background as an airborne infantryman and a long-held role as a NASA engineer, Dr. Bradley is one of the most prolific researchers studying EMPs. His extensive research sheds light on the chaos EMPs can unleash and offers guidance on how to brace for such events. Watch the Entire 90-Minute EMP Episode Here! ⬇️ Let's dive into the basics to better understand the risks and protective measures against EMP threats. The following section, "What is an EMP?" will explain electromagnetic pulses, their sources, and their potential impact on our modern world. Let's go! What is an EMP? Electromagnetic Pulses (EMPs) pose a real danger in the modern digital age. Triggered by nuclear explosions high above the Earth, EMPs can severely disrupt modern society by damaging and destroying electronics, from personal devices to the power grid. EMPs are an Undeniable Reality Discovered in the 1950s, the threat of EMPs has grown with our increasing reliance on technology. The increasing nuclear EMP threat raises concerns about our preparedness for such an event. The problem is that an enemy, using an EMP, could down the power grid and destroy vehicles and other critical infrastructure that a modern society needs to function. The existence of EMPs is undeniable, as evidenced by atomic tests, such as the Starfish Prime test in the 1950s, which revealed their damaging potential. The damage an EMP could inflict is debated, ranging from catastrophic scenarios affecting the power grid and causing widespread chaos to more controlled damage with significant but manageable impacts. Government and military awareness of EMPs dates back decades, yet measures to harden infrastructure against such attacks have been limited, mainly due to the complexity and cost. How Does an EMP Work? An electromagnetic pulse originates from high-altitude nuclear detonations. The nuclear detonation also unleashes electromagnetic energy capable of damaging electronic systems over vast areas. Due to the potential for catastrophic damage to the power grid, the possibility of EMPs emphasizes the need for preparedness strategies to mitigate this risk. E1, E2, and E3 Waves Nuclear EMPs unfold in three distinct phases: E1, E2, and E3. Each phase impacts electronic devices differently. The E1 wave causes immediate and catastrophic damage to delicate electronics. Next, the E2 wave, resembling a lightning strike, hits and causes further damage to delicate electronic devices like cell phones and computers. The E3 phase produces the same type of burst of energy as a coronal mass ejection (CME). The E3 wave is absorbed and conducted through the power grid's power lines (long conductors). Whereas the E1 and E2 waves damage delicate electronics, the E3 wave damages transformers and the power grid as a whole. What Would an EMP do to a Human? An electromagnetic pulse (EMP) is generally not directly harmful to humans. While EMP bursts of electromagnetic energy can disrupt or damage electronic equipment and electrical infrastructure, they do not physically impact the human body. The human body does not conduct electricity well enough for an EMP to cause ...

Pat identifies key characteristics of bureaucracies, such as rigid hierarchy, misaligned incentives, and the addition of responsibilities without adjusting infrastructure. He illustrates these points with anecdotes from his experiences in both government and private sectors, highlighting inefficiencies and the prioritization of bureaucracy over mission accomplishment. Despite the challenges posed by bureaucracy, Pat finds freedom in running his own business, where he can prioritize effectiveness over red tape. Through his teachings, Pat aims to equip individuals with practical skills and empower them to navigate bureaucratic systems effectively. Pat Watson Homestead Lockpicking

Anthrax Survivor! Dr. Nina Cerfolio’s Life Journey | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 1:23:40

Dr. Nina Cerfolio's journey to Chechnya during the Second Chechen War to help children affected by the conflict took a dangerous turn when she was poisoned with anthrax by someone posing as a journalist, who was actually a KGB agent. Since then, Dr. Cerfolio has found herself on a healing journey, both from the physical effects of the man-made anthrax and a lifetime of emotional trauma.  The KGB Assassination Attempt with Anthrax Dr. Nina Cerfolio's commitment to humanitarian efforts led her to volunteer for a medical mission in Chechnya during the Second Chechen War, aiming to provide aid and establish a running club for war-affected children. Unfortunately, her noble intentions were met with lethal opposition when she encountered a man posing as a sports journalist, who was, in fact, a KGB agent with an agenda. This encounter and his poisoning her with man-made anthrax marked the beginning of a traumatic ordeal for Dr. Cerfolios. (Be sure to check out Dr. Nina's Book Desire for Destruction!) The Onset of Symptoms and Diagnosis Challenges Shortly after her poisoning at the hands of the KGB, Dr. Cerfolio began experiencing severe, flu-like symptoms that rapidly escalated, leaving her bedridden and fighting for her life. Her condition, marked by symptoms such as projectile vomiting of blood and extreme fatigue, was alarmingly at odds with her otherwise healthy and active lifestyle. The medical community was initially baffled by her condition, struggling to diagnose her accurately. It was only through non-traditional diagnostic methods that the presence of man-made anthrax, a sophisticated and elusive weapon used by state actors, was confirmed. (Here is the link to Dr. Nina's Website) Dr. Nina Cerfolio and Her Long Road to Recovery From Anthrax Dr. Cerfolio's recovery from anthrax poisoning was a long and difficult journey, full of physical and psychological challenges. The poisoning inflicted long-lasting damage, manifesting in chronic conditions and newfound food allergies. Her path to recovery was not just about overcoming the physical remnants of the poison but also entailed a deep psychological struggle. Embracing Vulnerability and Transformation The ordeal brought about an unexpected transformation in Dr. Cerfolio, compelling her to embrace her vulnerabilities and adopt a more holistic and spiritual approach in her psychiatric practice. This shift allowed her to forge deeper connections and assist her patients in overcoming their challenges. Dr. Cerfolio's story is a testament to the resilience of the human spirit and the profound growth that can emerge from the depths of adversity, serving as a keen reminder of the unforeseen dangers that lurk in unsuspecting places and the tremendous strength that lies within us to overcome them. Navigating Emotional Trauma and Its Complexities Emotional trauma presents a formidable challenge that goes beyond the physical, embedding itself deep within the psyche and manifesting physically within the brain's structures, particularly the amygdala. Traumatic memories, stored without context, can trigger overwhelming and disorienting flashbacks from seemingly mundane stimuli, effectively disrupting the individual's present reality. This intricate interplay between psychological distress and physiological responses underlines the unpredictable and extensive nature of emotional trauma, making it a mental adversary that undermines the well-being of even the most prepared individuals. The Physical and Psychological Journey of Healing The journey to overcome trauma involves more than just mental resilience—it also encompasses physical symptoms such as panic attacks and severe anxiety, extending the battle beyond the confines of the mind. Healing from trauma is similar to piecing together a shattered glass,

Food Preps 2.0 with Shelby Gallagher | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 46:52

In today's uncertain world, where the only constant seems to be change, being prepared for the unexpected has never been more critical. From economic downturns to political upheaval and war, there are countless reasons why having a well-stocked pantry can provide peace of mind and security for you and your family. However, navigating the challenges of rising grocery prices and building a comprehensive food stockpile can be daunting tasks. That's why we're here with Food Preps 2.0 author Shelby Gallagher to offer practical advice and strategies to help you make smart choices and lay the groundwork for a resilient and sustainable food-prepping plan. The Price Hike Struggle: Making Smart Choices In today's unpredictable world, the rising costs of groceries can leave even the most seasoned preppers feeling the pinch. Working to build and meet your preparedness needs while dealing with the ever-fluctuating prices requires strategic thinking and discipline. One effective approach is to prioritize purchasing versatile staple items that offer the most bang for your buck. Rice, beans, oats, and pasta are excellent examples of budget-friendly foods that can be incorporated into a wide range of meals, stretching your food supply further without breaking the bank. Moreover, keeping an eye out for sales, discounts, and bulk deals can significantly reduce your overall food expenses. Many grocery stores offer loyalty programs or special promotions that can help you save money on essential items. Additionally, exploring alternative shopping options such as farmers' markets, co-ops, or wholesale clubs can often lead to substantial savings on fresh produce and other perishable goods. By staying flexible and open-minded in your approach to grocery shopping, you can mitigate the impact of price hikes and ensure that your pantry remains well-stocked for any eventuality. Building Your Stockpile Bit by Bit Building an adequate food stockpile doesn't have to happen overnight; in fact, it's often more manageable and sustainable to build it bit by bit over time. Start by setting achievable goals for yourself, such as adding one or two extra items to your pantry each time you go grocery shopping. This incremental approach not only spreads out the financial investment but also allows you to gradually accumulate a diverse selection of foods that will sustain you during emergencies. Be sure to focus on prioritizing long-lasting, non-perishable items that have a high nutritional value and can be stored for extended periods without spoiling. Canned goods, dried fruits, nuts, and freeze-dried meals are all excellent options for building a robust stockpile. Additionally, don't forget to consider your dietary preferences and any special dietary needs of your family members when selecting items for your pantry. By consistently dedicating a portion of your grocery budget to stocking up on essential items, you'll steadily build a supply of food that provides peace of mind and security for the future. Keep Your Food Preps Organized Keeping your food preps organized is crucial for ensuring that your stockpile remains efficient, accessible, and easy to manage. Start by designating a dedicated storage space for your emergency supplies, whether it's a pantry, closet, or shelving unit. Use labels to categorize and identify different types of food items, making it simple to locate what you need when you need it. Regularly rotate your stockpile to ensure that older items are used first, reducing the risk of food waste and maintaining freshness. As you replenish your supplies, be sure to place newly purchased items behind older ones to maintain a "first in, first out" system. Additionally, periodically check expiration dates and rotate out any items that are approaching their shelf life to maintain the quality and safety of your food supply.

Terrorist Movsum Samadov (Coming to a Town Near You?) | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 34:03

In case you haven't seen it, there's a troubling video on the Internet. The video is of an interview of an illegal border crosser, who, when asked who he is, responds with: You're not smart enough to know who I am. But soon, you're going to know who I am. Everyone will.  Call me crazy, but talking like that is usually an indicator of someone intent on doing terrible things. So, in this article, I'm going to explore who this guy is, the current state of affairs at the border, and what it means for us preparedness-minded people. Before we get into though, remember the odds of you being caught in any sort of terrorist event are exceedingly small. You have a better chance of winning the Lottery than experiencing terrorism. So, while it's good to be prepared, it's also helpful to manage your perspective of reality.  Who is Movsum Samadov I did some research and want to walk you through a bit about this guy named Movsum Samadov. Initial reports are that Movsum Samadov is the head of the Islamic Party of Azerbaijan, a country right above Iran on the Caspian Sea. It's a beautiful country, by the way. He faced imprisonment following his criticism of the country's religious freedom conditions and his political activities. On January 7, 2011, Samadov, the chairman of the Islamic terrorist group Azerbaijani Islamic Party, was arrested by Azerbaijan authorities during a traffic stop. Samadov is a Known Terrorist He was initially charged with failing to comply with a lawful police order, likely related to the traffic stop. This arrest occurred shortly after a January 2nd speech, where some enough openly criticized the President of Azerbaijan, particularly over the ban on wearing religious headscarves in schools. On October 7, 2011, the Baku Grave Crimes Court, which is located in Azerbaijan's capital, sentenced Samadov to 12 years in prison.  According to the U.S. Government: Samadov was charged with "preparing a crime" (Art. 28 ACC), "preparing terrorism committed on preliminary arrangement by group of persons, by organized group or criminal community (criminal organization)" (Art. 214.2.1 ACC), "preparing terrorism committed with application of firearms or subjects used as a weapon" (Art. 214.2.3 ACC), "illegally purchasing, transferring, selling, storing, transporting, and carrying firearms, accessories, supplies, and explosives committed by organized group" (Art. 228.3 ACC), and "actions directed on violent capture power or violent deduction power" (Art. 278 ACC).  Samadov was released from prison on January 19, 2023. Then, a year later, he turns up on the border of our country, crossing into our country illegally, when he made his now infamous statement.  The Problem for Americans Now, here's the overarching issue for most Americans. Most Americans believe the border is secure when it is, in fact, wide open—as evidenced by the millions flooding over it. The open border is why Texas is attempting to use the Texas Guard to protect the border independently and in accordance with the U.S. Constitution and its state constitution. To that end, at Eagle Pass (the midpoint of the international border between Texas and Mexico), Texas is laying concertina wire to help stem the flow of people across the border.  Countering Texas's efforts, the Supreme Court of the United States decided in a 5 to 4 vote to allow the Border Patrol to cut the concertina wire and also to escort illegal migrants into this country and release them into the State of Texas. Texas is currently defying that ruling and maintaining its position at the border.   The problem for American citizens is that there are MILLIONS of people coming across illegally and being released into our country, including people from China, Iran, and elsewhere. Amongst those people are bad guys like Samadov—a known terrorist,

10 Things Not to Do During SHTF (Deadly Mistakes to Avoid!) | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 1:52:26

I'm sharing my top ten mistakes to avoid during SHTF to ultimately make you safer and more secure during an SHTF event. That's important because while there are plenty of articles, videos, and other resources that us what to do if society melts down, few address what not to do when it hits the fan.   And, while the odds of a society-ending SHTF event are remote, we seem closer than ever to possibly experiencing one. Therefore, it's the responsible course of action is to lean into that possibility and learn a bit about what to do and what NOT to do during an SHTF event. So, let’s dive into my top ten list of things NOT to do during SHTF 1. Do Not Panic In a crisis, it’s vital to avoid panic because it impairs our judgment and decision-making. Being able to calm oneself and others down when panic sets in is critical when it hits the fan because it lays the foundation for effective decision-making and fosters better group cohesion. Four ways to deal with and avoid panic are: Focus on and Control Your Breathing to change your body chemistry so that it minimizes the panic and anxiety. Concentrate on Your Preparations and Training to remind yourself that you’re prepared and know what to do. Pause to Assess the Situation Objectively, which helps minimize the panic and sets you up your decision-making process to prioritize actions successfully.  Support One Another when the panic sets in because when it hits the fan, we will have moments where we could use someone’s help and assurance.   (Read this article that discusses How to Manage Your Stress and Anxiety) 2. Do Not Make Emotional Decisions The likelihood of emotional responses, which cloud judgment and lead to poor decision-making, increases during stressful times. Therefore, understanding and controlling emotional reactions is crucial for rational and effective decision-making when it hits the fan. Because emotional responses are part of the human condition, they happen to all of us. Unfortunately, emotional responses like fear, anger, and despair can cause poor and impulsive decisions that lead to potentially dangerous actions. Here are three actions that you can take to minimize the possibility of emotional decisions.  Effective Planning and contingency planning help minimize the likelihood of emotional decision-making by providing a clear road map for action, reducing the possibility of impulsive decisions.  Seek Advice and Input from trusted individuals to offer fresh perspectives and reduce decision-making stress. Mentally Rehearse potential scenarios by asking yourself “what-if” questions to help mentally prepare yourself for the difficulties you may encounter.  (Read this article on managing emotions: Mental Fortitude: 7 Steps to Mental Toughness) 3. Do Not Draw Attention to Yourself In a crisis, the “Gray Man” strategy of staying unnoticed is crucial for safety and survival. By following this approach, you can avoid sticking out and, in so doing, protect yourself from harm when it hits the fan. Remember, it is always better to be cautious and take preventive measures than to deal with unwanted situations. Six ways to avoid drawing attention to yourself are:  Minimize Noise, as sounds can reveal your location.  Avoid Lights at Night since they signal your presence when it’s dark.  Keep Your Location and Resources Secret, as sharing information can attract unwanted attention.  Conceal Your Supplies so that they are not readily observable by people not from your family or group.  Blend Into the Environment by using clothing and behavior that blends in with your situation.  4. Do Not Go It Alone We all have times when we need the support of others. Whether we need help to recover when we’re sick or injured...

 175: Mind4Survival Show Update (What’s Coming in 2024) | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 45:57

It's been quite a year, and we've all faced interesting challenges. As we wrap up 2023, I hope you and your loved ones are in good health and high spirits and are ready to tackle whatever 2024 throws our way. This episode is a reset of sorts and covers what to expect from the Mind4Survival show in 2024.  Before we dive into the exciting plans for Mind4Survival in 2024, I want to highlight the significance of our favorite topics: mindset and perspective. So, let's embark on this journey and discover what 2024 holds for us. Mindset and Perspective: The Foundations of Readiness and Resilience Let's start by diving into a topic close to my heart and essential for anyone on the path to readiness and resilience—Mindset and Perspective. These two factors are the bedrock upon which all our preparedness efforts stand. The Significance of Mindset Mindset serves as the starting point for our approach to life's challenges. It's not merely our momentary thoughts but the culmination of our biases, beliefs, and fears that influence how we perceive and interpret the world around us. It defines whether we face life effectively and with optimism or by viewing it through a lens of despair. At its core, mindset is the unwavering belief that we can continually improve ourselves, fostering the grit and determination required for effective resilience and self-reliance. In the realm of preparedness, mindset takes the top spot among all fundamentals. It shapes our relationship with reality, dictating how much our perspective molds our understanding of and interactions with the world. In a nutshell, everything we believe and do stems from our mindset. The Importance of Perspective Our perspective reflects our worldviews, convictions, and emotional responses. It's a direct product of our perceptions, which, in turn, stem from our thought processes. Simply put, the way we think shapes what we think. Why is perspective crucial? It's vital because the more our perspectives align with objective reality, the better our decisions and subsequent actions. If our perceptions are skewed, our view of reality will also be. Misaligned perspectives can lead to overconfidence (The Dunning-Kruger Effect), unrealistic optimism (Normalcy Bias), and confirmation bias, where we seek information that supports our beliefs rather than challenging them. To bridge the gap between perspective and reality, we must actively seek out new experiences and the opinions of others, not to find agreement but to gain insight into their reasoning. This ongoing process helps refine our perspectives over time, resulting in better decision-making and actions—qualities paramount in the world of self-reliance. Navigating Turbulent Times Now, why am I emphasizing this topic? Well, as we approach the 2024 election year in the U.S. and contend with various ongoing dramas, it's vital to maintain a positive mindset and a sharp perspective. The constant barrage of corporate media and political upheaval can put our mindsets to the test, leading to increased anxiety, concern, and overwhelm. We mustn't allow these challenges to consume us because life is meant to be lived positively, not in a state of frustration, fear, or worse. We must align our perspective with reality to successfully navigate these turbulent waters. In a world already filled with chaos, we shouldn't contribute to the drama by embracing bad information, unreliable sources, and unnecessary sensationalism. In essence, the key to living our best lives, even during tough times, lies in maintaining a positive mindset and keeping our perspective grounded in reality. By doing so, we can face the uncertainties of the future with strength, resilience, and the ability to make accurate, informed, and effective decisions.

174: Survival Fitness with Chris Viggiano | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 1:44:52

Many times, preppers get so focused on stockpiling survival "things" that they forget one of the cornerstones of preparedness: their fitness. In this episode, I'm talking with Chris Viggiano, owner of  AIM Human Performance. Chris has a great view of a long-term wellness plan that everyone can be a part of. None of our preps mean anything if we don't keep ourselves as healthy as possible, regardless of physical limitations. The AIM Philosophy With the AIM system, Chris, together with his wife Michelle, treats each individual's health like a unique ecosystem. The goal is: Assess, Improve, and Maintain to relieve unwanted struggle. Clients don't come with short-term goals. They're real people looking at how they want to feel and move thirty years from now. At AIM, they design customized plans based on each person's limitations and desires. Resilience & the SAID Principle Chris defines resilience as "our ability to recover from a stressful event, whether that stressful event is deliberate or not." Our resilience is based on our wellness, which is based on our unique ecosystems. When coaching, he applies the SAID Principle: Specific Adaptation to Imposed Demand. Individually, we must focus on our capabilities while managing expectations with reality. Long-term health is a marathon, not a sprint. Wellness Strategies Because men and women are biologically different, they must prepare for long-term health differently. We touch on some actionable tips that apply to all individuals that everyone can take a step toward implementing today. Chris also shares his views on how sleep and diet affect us as essential parts of our individual ecosystems and adds some hacks for us to use at home. Cold Therapy One area of resilience and wellness therapy that you may not have heard much about is Cold Therapy. Chris explains his reasons for recommending it in some detail. He also shares how anyone can take a small step towards conditioning themselves without dunking themselves in an ice bath or taking a polar plunge. Start Where You Are When asked for some of his favorite Tips and Tricks, Chris says his foremost piece of advice is, "Start where you are." Take an honest physical and mental inventory of your health, and create some actionable small steps that will, over time, get you one step closer to your long-term goals. Start with something simple, like eliminating one soda each day. Maybe you can pick up the pace while walking to the mailbox. Walk down the hall and back carrying a gallon of water (8.3#). Try creating a meal plan and cooking one more day each month from scratch. There are no immediate goals to start. The only goal is to try to make each day a little healthier than the day before. Foreward progress is the overall goal. So be sure to hit the "PLAY" button at the top of your screen to hear us talk about it in tons more detail. You'll leave with a new perspective on the importance of health as part of your overall preparedness plan.  Exploring Home with Chris Weatherman (Angery American) | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 53:27

In this podcast episode, I sit down with Chris Weatherman, host of the Angery American Nation podcast and well-known author of over 23 published works, including the popular series, The Survivalist. Chris joined me live from the swamps of Louisiana, where he and his wife are enjoying some time in their RV while waiting for some truck repairs to be completed. You'll hear all about the terrible arson that took place on his property, destroying significant amounts of his long-term prepper supplies along with multiple buildings, vehicles, and large equipment. Find out what lessons they learned from the experience and how they plan to alter the layout of the property during the rebuild. I asked Chris what his biggest concerns are looking forward, and his answer was two-fold. Equally concerned by the economy and the potential for civil conflict, we compare notes on what we have been watching unfold across the globe and what we view as potential flashpoints for 2024. Situational awareness and the ability to blend in as a gray man will be increasingly important as information becomes harder and harder to verify. At the same time, at what point do Americans begin to stand up for our individual liberties? We also take a hard look at some of the ways artificial intelligence will affect how we are forced to process information in the future, from movies to politics to court evidence. Hoping for a sneak peek into Angery American's latest novel in The Survivalist series? Exploring Home is scheduled for release on November 21, 2023. Before we close, he gives listeners an inside look into his writing process and how Exploring Home is a transitional volume in the ongoing saga. You can pre-order or purchase it here. Stay safe,

 172: What’s Happening in the World? | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 1:09:58

If you're like me, it feels like there is a daily barrage of significant issues that seem capable of directly or indirectly impacting us. It can often feel overwhelming to process. I say that as someone who spent his life preparing for and dealing with some terrible situations. Like most of you, I am listening, watching, and trying to understand what's happening in our world.  We all have questions about what is happening in the world. How concerned should we be? People are asking themselves, "What should I be doing?" In this article, I will cover that by giving you some of my thoughts on what you can be doing now to become better prepared, more self-reliant, and increase your resilience in the face of the uncertain adversity we are all facing.  But before I dive into this, I want to prep you. Please know that what I'm going to lead with may seem depressing and cause sensations of nervousness, anxiousness, and worry. If that happens, know that it's normal; the stuff you, I, and others are dealing with right now is very heavy—it's very serious. If that's what you're feeling, you're 100% normal and exactly where you should be given your current circumstances. With that, and as I mentioned, I will provide you with some actionable items that you can use to help make things better.  So let's talk about it.  What's Happening in the World I'm sure many of you are working through the same concerns and questions that I have:  Is the situation with Israel and Palestine the beginning of a conflict that will spill over into a more significant event and pull us into a larger, perhaps World War?  What about the ongoing war in Ukraine? Where does that lead? There's the threat of terror cells operating within our nation.  For us here in the U.S. and for many listening in other nations, our governments are melting down, treading on our freedoms, and sewing mistrust within the population.  Costs are rising. Wallets are shrinking. Many are worried about providing for their loved ones.  Crime is on the rise. Society is decaying. The ability to keep our families safe is becoming more questionable by the day.  Yes, that is all happening, and then some. And, as I mentioned, it's causing people to feel stressed, worried, anxious, scared, and angry. We all do our best not to be a problem. Even though many of us don't always agree with the actions and policies of our government, we do our best to be good citizens, neighbors, and friends.  There Are Actions You Can Take Yes, despite the craziness of our world, there are things that you can do to improve your overall resilience. Even better, there are actions you can take right now that won't cost you anything other than time and thought. And while that may sound easy, it won't be for many.  That's because emotionally amplified times like we're in can feel overwhelming. And that sense of overwhelm can lead to not knowing where to start. Similarly, being in such an overwhelmed, off-putting mood can paralyze us from taking action despite knowing what we need to do.   Fortunately, though, there are, as I mentioned, no-cost, free actions that you can take to improve your situation and to set yourself up for success when preparing for the potential outcomes of our crazy times. With that, here is a list of things you can do to start your resilience ball rolling should you ever find yourself stuck and needing help to get going again.  Things that You Can Do Acknowledge Your Situation Keep Things in Perspective Take Proactive Action Practice Self-Care Build Your Support Network 1. Acknowledge Your Situation Acknowledging a situation might seem like a small, easy step. It may seem like a no-brainer, but it's a step that many people genuinely str...
