The Preds have defied the odds. In just a few short weeks, they are now looking to claim the final playoff spot in the Central Division and be playoff contenders. For this to happen, they have to hold off the Stars and Blackhawks who are looking for that final spot as well. The questions now become will they make it, who will they play, and how far do they go? Should they fail to place or make an early exit, eyes will turn to the 2021 NHL Expansion Draft in Seattle and GMDP will have to figure out who he wants to protect and the team itself will have another offseason of wondering what could have been.
