This is her 2nd general election where she's been old enough to vote, and both times she has voted Labour. Martha speaks to Jane about her thoughts on why Brexit won, trade deals, Ukip and Britain's history of an anti-immigrant sentiment. Martha took a little trip from her comfortable Lewisham bubble to Romford on a Saturday afternoon. Romford is part of Havering where the vote to leave the EU in the referendum was 70%. My Motives were to discover why people voted to leave in such high numbers as well as how much Brexit was informing their choices at this election. Many people I spoke to did not want to be on record because they said; "It is dangerous to have an opinion these days" Nevertheless I still heard some interesting views and it was good to start the conversation.
