General “Jerry” Boykin, the SgtMaj of the Marine Corps, SgtMaj Ronald Green, and his predecessor, SgtMaj Carlton Kent at this prestigious event. The following presentation was given by Chad Robichaux, the founder of Mighty Oaks Warrior Programs.
Last Friday was the 4th Annual Mighty Oaks Foundation Washington DC Gala at Army Navy Country Club in Arlington, VA. We were honored to have amazing VIPs, like Lt. General “Jerry” Boykin, the SgtMaj of the Marine Corps, SgtMaj Ronald Green, and his predecessor, SgtMaj Carlton Kent at this prestigious event. General Boykin was our keynote speaker for the night and brought an amazing message of hope for our Nation’s Warriors who are served by Mighty Oaks.
Allen West is the third of four generations of military servicemen in his family. During his 22 year career in the United States Army, Lieutenant Colonel West served in several combat zones and received many honors including a Bronze Star, three Meritorious Service Medals, three Army Commendation Medals, one with Valor device, and a Valorous Unit Award. In 1993 he was named the US Army ROTC Instructor of the Year. In November of 2010, Lt. Col West was elected to the United States Congress, representing Florida’s 22nd District. He is a Fox News Contributor, contributing columnist for Townhall.com, and author of Guardian of the Republic: An American Ronin’s Journey to Faith, Family and Freedom. He is the former Executive Director of the National Center for Policy Analysis in Dallas Texas. Lt. Col West also serves on the Board of Directors for the National Rifle Association.
