Throwball – Glorified Hot Potato – Sport of the Week | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 6:00

We’re done with the Olympic sports. We made it all the way through Winter so now we just get to sit back and relax. Wrong, it means we get to move on to other sports. This week it’s the popular Asian sport of Throwball. John and Geoff take you through the details. Find Sport of the Week every single Monday, right here, on iTunes or Stitcher.

Post Super Bowl (Offseason Week 1) – Skol and Bones | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 17:46

The Vikings and Browns are deep into the offseason (2 weeks now), but we’ve still got news and notes. Randy Moss was voted into the Hall of Fame as a first-ballot nominee. Super Bowl odds are in and the Packers, Eagles and Patriots are ahead of the Vikings in Super Bowl odds and the Browns are dead last. 100-1. John was surprised to find out that the Browns have a better shot this year than last year (200-1). Go place those $50 bets! John DeFilippo could be (is) headed to the Vikings to take over the head coaching duties from the recently vacated spot that Pat Shurmur left when he joined the Giants as head coach. Geoff has an open statement for the Eagles fan that stole a seat back from the Vikings stadium during the Super Bowl. He also reveals his own thievery. Johnny Manziel is going to be on the ThomaHawk podcast sometime in the next few weeks. A single slice of Freschetta pizza and a beer was $24 at the Super Bowl. Geoff calls out stadiums. Find Skol and Bones every single Friday right here, on Stitcher or iTunes.

Another week and a lot of weird sports things are going on. Makes me wonder if we’re in a multiverse. Probably not but you never know. Enjoy our headlines episode!

Olympic Hockey – Sport of the Week | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 6:02

Short and sweet because, well, you probably know more about hockey than we do. Canada wins. A lot.

Olympic Bobsleigh – Sport of the Week | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 15:26

It’s Olympic Bobsleigh time! We thought about just doing a full episode around the truths and lies in Cool Runnings, but instead decided to look at the history of the sport and the biggest winners through the years. We do eventually get to the Jamaican bobsled team, but it’s not the focus. Anyway, thanks for joining us for another week and look for us every single Monday!

 Week 21, 2017 – Orange and Purple Report – The Last Episode | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 35:46

The final episode. As the NFL season closes out, so will we. It’s been a fun ride, but the Orange and Purple Report is closing up shop. We’re not done for good, we’re just moving to a new name, Skol and Bones. We find this to be a name with more zazz and playfulness, so we’re changing. Anyway, in this episode we’ve got our NFL Superlatives, a recap of the sad, embarrassing blowout that ended the Vikings season, and John talks about the Browns new coordinators. Enjoy! We’ll be back next week with a new name.

#131 – Firing a Kidd, LeBron Hits 30k, NFL Coaching Changes and More | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 42:45

LeBron James became the fastest to hit 30,000 points in a career, but how likely is he to hit number one, which new NFL coaches will have the biggest impact on their teams and how much longer can the Ohio State Men’s Basketball team go in the Big Ten before they lose a game? Also, which Indians player moved into the Hall of Fame as a first ballot nominee? We explore all of that this week on That One Sports Show – Headlines. You can find us weekly on iTunes, Stitcher or any podcast listening device.

Winter Olympic Figure Skating – Sport of the Week | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 15:08

One of the more graceful sports in the Winter Olympics, it also holds the most unique costumes. New in the 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympics will be the use of music with vocals in the singles and pairs events. We cover all of that including the storied history of figure skating in this week’s episode. You can find a new Sport of the Week every single Monday right here, on iTunes, or any other podcast listening device.

 Orange and Purple – Week 20, 2017 – The Minneapolis Miracle | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 24:07

If you were living under a rock for the past week, this is an important episode to listen to. It’s got one of the greatest endings to a football game ever and we grabbed the audio for the Paul Allen call of an historic touchdown. Geoff gushes about the Vikings win and takes a look to the AFC Championship, debating which team he’d prefer the Vikings face. John’s got a bit of Browns news, but mostly quiet on the Browns front. Mainly just trying to lock in an OC at this point. You can find the Orange and Purple Report (soon to be Skol and Bones) right here every single Friday. Feel like showing us some love?
