PLL Season 7, Episode 20: "Till Death Do Us Part" Recap, Review & Theories WOW. This two-hour finale did not disappoint. We finally learned the identity of A.D. Aria and Ezra’s wedding almost didn’t happen. Alison and Emily had twins and got engaged. Hanna and Caleb hit a rough patch but worked their way through it to make a baby of their own. Spencer discovered a big family secret, and it looked like her and Toby were headed toward a reunion. Mona saved the day and won the game. And Jenna helped a little.   Still wondering...   Who is A.D.? Alex Drake… Spencer’s twin sister. The big bad in charge of it all! Who will make it to the end of the Season 7? Everyone but Wren. Surprisingly, we didn’t get his death on screen, but we didn’t get any others, either. Jenna and Mona both made it! Who has the twin… Spencer! Did Mary have any other children? Yes. Alex Drake… she sold her to Dr. Palmer to get out of Radley.     Theories Obviously no new theories, but I’m really impressed with how right we were as a fandom. Almost half of us guessed that A.D. was a mystery character. I think if the number of suspects would’ve been lower, we would’ve gotten closer. But where’s the fun in that?!? PLL Season 7, Episode 19: "Farewell My Lovely" Recap, Review & Theories Aria almost turned herself in for Dunhill’s murder, but his body went missing. Emily and Alison were still going strong, spending lots of time at home on the couch and getting gassed by A.D. All the liars decided that Mona was A.D., so Caleb and Hanna went to stake out her apartment and followed her to The Two Crows Diner. Mary Drake took the fall for Dunhill’s murder, and we found out who killed Charlotte and how that all transpired. A.D. ended the episode driving off into a sunset… but with a Ziploc baggie containing the figures of the girls. Game, not over. Still wondering...   Who is A.D.? Who killed Charlotte? Mona, just not how we thought. But we still don’t know if she staged the death, or if someone else did that part.   Who will make it to the end of the Season 7?  Who has the twin… Alison or Spencer? I’m still thinking Spencer, but they could still throw the Alison twin in there.   Did Mary have any other children? Spencer’s twin if she has one.    Is Jessica DiLaurentis pretending to be Mary Drake? No. I don’t think that Jessica D. would’ve taken the fall for anyone, let alone Spencer. PLL Season 7, Episode 18: "Choose or Lose" Recap, Review & Theories The Liars found out about Aria’s deception, thanks to Mona. Rosewood P.D. closed in on the girls, led by the return of Detective Tanner. Alison surprised Emily at the kissing rock. Aria finally told Ezra the truth. Spencer reunited with Toby, but something felt off. Hanna and Caleb tied the knot.    Still wondering...   Who is A.D.? Who killed Charlotte? I know the previews make it seem like it was Mona. I could honestly see that. Most of the liars thought that in the first place. But because it’s so obvious makes me think it’s not that simple. It also doesn’t make her A.D. Who will make it to the end of the Season 7?  Who has the twin… Alison or Spencer? Leaning more towards Spencer this week. The change of clothing and just the whole weirdness of that scene with Toby. Yep. Did Mary have any other children? Probably Spencer’s twin.   Is Jessica DiLaurentis pretending to be Mary Drake? Because of what I’ve seen in the sneak peek, I’m thinking no. When will Wren be back? The whole Charles thing… I had a thought while I was recording this episode. What if CeCe Drake just invented a story to get away with everything that she had done? I think it’s possible that she was really Bethany Young, and made all of that up. In this scenario, Charles would’ve been very real, but his story ended when he died at Radley. I think they might discover a body when they go digging at Aunt Carol’s and start unraveling the truth. But you know, it’s PLL, so maybe not. Have a question I haven’t covered? PLL Season 7, Episode 17: "Driving Miss Crazy" Recap, Review & Theories Aria continued her downward spiral, this time affecting Spencer’s family. Mona was (finally!) brought in on the game. She helped Emily investigate Ali’s doctor while Hanna went searching for shovels. Oh, and then there was that adorable Haleb moment!   Still wondering...   Who is A.D.? Who will make it to the end of the Season 7?  Who has the twin… Alison or Spencer? Did Mary have any other children?  Is Jessica DiLaurentis pretending to be Mary Drake? I’m still thinking that this might be a possibility. The back and forth of how Jessica and Mary treat each other remind me quite a bit of Alison and Courtney from the books. So, this reveal wouldn’t surprise me. When will Wren be back? Is Mona good? I think so… what are you guys thinking? Have a question I haven’t covered? PLL Season 7, Episode 16: "The Glove The Rocks The Cradle" Recap, Review & Theories Spencer’s mistakes come back to haunt her – and the others. Dark Aria continues to spiral. Hanna takes another turn at the game and finds herself defending a longtime friend. Emily surprised Alison with a nursery for the baby, only to have AD’s newest minion trash it. Mona fights to be part of the group. Ezra finally gets his priorities straight. The girls confront Lucas and discover the truth behind Arcturus the Protector. And last but not least, it looks like a happy ending for Emison.    Still wondering...   Who is A.D.? The real Charles DiLaurentis, Spencer’s Twin, or Alison’s Twin. And the twin would be the real Bethany Young. As far as the body in the grave… I’m thinking that could be explained away just like the remains in the barrel. Who killed Charlotte DiLaurentis? I’m thinking it was either the real Charles DiLaurentis or Bethany Young (which would be someone’s twin.) Unless Charlotte is actually alive. That could be possible.  Who will make it to the end of the Season 7?  Who has the twin… Alison or Spencer? Did Mary have any other children?  Is Jessica DiLaurentis pretending to be Mary Drake? What is in Aria’s file? Looks like I was right on this one, but I wanted to add something. I had previously thought that it was all about just the affair. But I’m thinking Aria wrote a report that told everything, including how Ezra was writing the book about Alison and how he knew who she was (and how old she was) when they met. Not only would he probably go to jail, the report would probably ruin his career as an author.  When will Wren be back? Caleb came back from fishing… where’s Toby?!? While I like that Marco is actually taking his job at Rosewood PD seriously, I miss Officer Toby. Hope he comes back soon. Have a question I haven’t covered? Tumblr user prettylittlesessions posted the photos submitted from focusedonthepoint. The page depicts a woman taking her place by Arcturus’ side as Arcturus shows her the command center. Which reminds me of the command center Mona busted the Liars out of in Game Over Charles. I have to wonder if the woman represents CeCe, and her job was to trap the girls at The Radley so AD could blow it up and kill everyone. I like the fact that Marco is actually investigating her for Rollins’ murder, because I think he might be the one to figure it out. Or at least reveal to the audience that he figured it out before Shadow/Twincer/Spencerietta kills him. I wouldn’t bet the farm on him lasting until the end. PLL Season 7, Episode 15: "In The Eye Abides The Heart" Recap, Review & Theories Emily and Alison make a decision about Baby Emison. Hanna, Emily, and Aria find a secret comic book written by Lucas and Charles. Dark Aria hands it over to A.D. and gets a black hoodie in return. Mary tries to reach out to Spencer, but Detective Furey’s suspicions about Spencer get in the way. Ezra finally (hopefully?) chooses between Nicole and Aria. While at the airport, he runs into Spencer meeting with Wren. But that might not be Spencer after all…   Still wondering...   Who is A.D.? Who killed Charlotte DiLaurentis?   Who will make it to the end of the Season 7?  Does Spencer Hastings have a twin? The airport scene this week really makes me think so. It was a very strange and awkward scene all around. Shot from Ezra’s point of view, Wren and Spencer were arguing. It’s possible that we just met Spencer’s twin. Twincer or Spencerietta? Personally, I like Twincer better. Did Mary have any other children? Leaning towards yes on this one also. Is Jessica DiLaurentis pretending to be Mary Drake? What is in Aria’s file? I posted about the statute of limitations in PA here. But I really hope this isn’t that. Way too late to go down that road. PLL Season 7, Episode 14: "Power Play" Recap, Review & Theories What’s fun for A.D. was not fun for Alison DiLaurentis is this week’s episode of Pretty Little Liars. Fan theories came to life as we learned the exact nature of Ali’s pregnancy. Paige and Emily shared a moment. Spencer confronted her father about Mary Drake. Hanna ran into Ted and learned some disturbing news. And last but not least, Nicole might be gone, but A.D. has Aria headed down a dark path.   Still wondering...   Who killed Jessica DiLaurentis? Mary Drake! Which we sort of already saw coming. According to Peter Hastings, Mary asked him to help her kill Jessica. He refused, so she framed him for the murder.  Who killed Charlotte DiLaurentis?   Who is A.D.?   Who will make it to the end of the Season 7?  Is there another twin we don't know about?  Did Mary have any other children?  Will we ever learn more about Bethany Young? It tackles a lot of unanswered questions in a pretty satisfying way. It adds Wren into the game, something that many fans have theorized. This one also accounts for Charlotte, adds in a twin for Spencer and closes the book on the Bethany mystery.    Theories... The new details revealed in this episode sparked a ton of new fan theories, which is so exciting. We haven't gotten a lot of these kinds of reveals lately! And it's also a little bittersweet with only 6 episodes left, even if the finale is 2 hours.  I've been reading a lot of theories suggesting a twin switch between Mary and Jessica. I could see it, and I think it would add a lot to the plot, especially if we get that reveal prior to the last episode.  The more I think about it though, the more I'm liking the Spencer isn't really Spencer theory. That's a reveal that would make viewers mad a first, but I think if we never knew the real Spencer as I suggest in my theory, it would soften the blow a little. Emily and Aria track Sydney down and find that she's working for Jenna who we know is working for A.D. Caleb gets hurt when he's examining the game board. We say goodbye to Yvonne.   Still wondering...   Who killed Jessica DiLaurentis? - According to the previews for next week's episode, "Power PlAy," we will be finding out the answer to this questions from S4E24: "A is for Answers." She was killed when someone switched her blood pressure pills.  Who killed Charlotte DiLaurentis?   Who is A.D.?   Who will make it to the end of the Season 7?  Is there another twin we don't know about?  Did Mary have any other children?  What do you think? She casually asks how meeting for drinks turned into a formal meeting with Lucas' investors, and this is while the doll is under the sheet in the loft. Hmmm. I love reading these posts, and it's amazing if you look at just how many clues and plot holes point to Alison as Uber A. This particular post talks about how strange it is that Alison has a key to Spencer's barn, (among other things) and how quickly that was glazed over. These theories make you think!  Alison is A.D. Theory - video by Youtuber Rosewoodspoiler PLL. This is worth watching the entire thing. I know it's long, but it's one of most inclusive theories I've seen!    And one more thing...  Before I started my radiorosewood tumblr, I used my seizethesparkle tumblr to post Pretty Little Liars theories and liveblogs. There's a lot of theories and something I called PLL Ramblings that you'll likely see here. Although I've changed my mind about parts of this theory, (it's still my favorite!)
