Dr. Hadiyah-Nicole Green has dedicated her life to finding a better way to treat cancer. Dr. Green was inspired to this goal by the loss of her aunt who raised her, Ora Lee Smith. She is one of the first 100 African American women to earn a PhD in physics. She has more than 10 years of interdisciplinary research experience including training at the University of Alabama at Birmingham’s Comprehensive Cancer Centre and Department of Pathology. She specializes in targeted cancer therapeutics using lasers and nanoparticles. Her expertise lies at the intersection of nanotechnology, immunotherapy, and precision medicine. Dr. Green is currently a professor at Morehouse School of Medicine in the Department of Surgery. The U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs recently awarded Dr. Green a $1.1 million grant to continue her ground-breaking research. She has received Trailblazer Awards from Southern Company, The National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Inc., Metropolitan Atlanta Chapter and 100 Black Men of America, Inc. Nollywood Actress Ego Boyo was the silver screen darling in the Nigerian TV series Checkmate in the early 90s. Since then, she has starred in movies such as violated and began her own production company called Temple Productions which has produced numerous movies and commercials for blue chip companies. Nwakaego “Ego” Boyo is a well-known and accomplished actor and producer who has worked extensively in the Nigerian film industry since the 90s. She made her debut as an actor in the critically acclaimmed Soap Opera “CHECKMATE” which aired on the NTA network service for five years playing the role of Ann Haastrope – a role which endeared her to Nigerian audiences. In 1996, she produced her first feature film “VIOLATED”, a Moving Movies Production, directed by the Late Amaka Igwe. The film was considered one of the highest selling home video productions of its time, and has gone down in Nigerian Film industry history as one of the best Romantic Dramas, and the benchmark for Romantic films in Nigeria. Ego set up her own production company later that same year, and continues as the managing director /CEO of the company. Set up as a full digital production company with a rental arm and working in production from end to end, a service it continues to provide across two continents. In 1998, Ego delved back into production with another collaboration with Amaka Igwe, this time the film was  “TO LIVE AGAIN” which was directed by Amaka Igwe and went on to garner several THEMA award nominations, and  REEL award nominations and eventually to win best Film/Picture at the Reel Awards in 1999. In 2002, Ego produced arguably the biggest romantic feature film of the decade “KEEPING FAITH” directed by Steve Gukas starring Joke Silva, Richard Mofe Damijo, Olu Jacobs, a relatively unknown Genevieve Nnaji as well as Funlola Aofiyebi, Bimbo Akintola and industry staples Keppy Ekpeyoung and Fred Amata as well as Veteran actor, Ibidun Alison. His Excellency, Mr. Obed Mlaba was born in 1943. From a young age, Obed always displayed a keen interest in the discourse towards the attainment of freedom for all in South Africa thus culminating in his active participation in grassroots civic movement activities. At first, Obed participated in the struggle as a member of the Umlazi Resident Association from which he then moved on to the United Democratic Front (UDF). After South Africa’s historic transition to multiparty politics, Obed became the first Mayor of Durban in 1996. Simultaneously, he held the titles of Chairman of the Kwa-Zulu Natal Local Government Association and the South African Local Government Association (SALGA). At the end of his tenure as Mayor, Obed had become one of South Africa’s longest serving Mayor with a mayoral term spanning more than 15 years.  He is currently South Africa’s sixth High Commissioner to the United Kingdom since 1994.

Obi Obadike is a celebrity trainer and world-renowned fitness expert and TV personality. He is an internationally recognized celebrity fitness/nutrition expert who has graced the cover of over fifty fitness magazines and has written over 100 articles, making him one of the most published fitness experts over the past decade. Denrele Edun is a Nigerian television host, whose work has been recognized with 16 awards and over 30 nominations in his career He is known for his fashion style and eccentric personality. Iyanya is an award winning singer, songwriter, and performer. He rose to fame after winning the first season of Project Fame West Africa, and is best known for his hit single "Kukere". He released his debut studio album, My Story, in 2011 which had singles such as "No Time" and "Love Truly".  His second album Desire, had hit singles such as "Kukere", "Ur Waist", "Flavour, "Sexy Mama", and "Jombolo". The 19-track album featured guest appearances from M.I, Wizkid, D'banj, Emma Nyra, Tiwa Savage, Flavour, May D, Tekno Miles, and Yung L. In 2013, He won the Artist of the Year award at The Headies and Ghana Music Awards.
