Host Dr Gil Tippy  Christopher M. Gauthiér's  photography can be found in the permanent collections of the Mississippi Museum of Art; Webster University, The Netherlands; Koltsovo Airport, Yekaterinburg, Russian Federation and in private collections nationally and internationally. Christopher has presented his project, Evidence and Artifacts at conferences, symposiums and workshops on art, the environment, and disability; including at the Association of University Centers on Disabilities 2012 Conference in Washington D.C., the 2013 Mountain West Arts Conference, and three consecutive years at the US Autism and Asperger Association World Conference.  In 2013, Christopher was awarded a Utah Visual Arts Fellowship and the Autism Council of Utah’s Individual of the Year Award.  His focus on autism evolved out of the struggle to access the necessary interventions and treatments for his children on the spectrum, and from his own life experience as an individual affected by Aspergers Syndrome. It is his goal to stimulate the national dialogue on the impact of environmental insults on human health and development. Christopher currently sits on the advisory board of the US Autism and Asperger Association, and Madison House Foundation, a non-profit advocacy organization whose mission is to improve the lives of adults facing the challenges of autism spectrum disorder. Jacqueline F. Gauthiér is currently the Director for Morningside School, a private preschool and kindergarten in Logan, UT.  Jacqueline has been a life-long advocate for women and children, with a background in crisis intervention, including medical and legal advocacy for survivors of sexual violence and case management services for abused children. 

Dr. John Kellmayer "The Common Core State Standards:  How they impact your child" Dr. John Kellmayer is a school superintendent in New Jersey and a member of the faculty in the Nova Southeastern University doctoral program. A former high school principal, he has extensive experience with at-risk populations. Dr. Kellmayer, who also holds an M.B.A., has served as a consultant to business and industry and is knowledgeable about organizational development and leadership in both the public and private sectors. A former writing instructor on the faculties of Penn State and Temple Universities, he has published about 200 articles in newspapers, magazines, textbooks, and journals.   Dr Kellmayer is also the author of two books - Mouse in the Microwave and How to Establish An Alternative School.   

Dr.Dan Peters joins us to discuss his two brand new books: From Worrier to Warrior for teens and tweens,  designed to teach you how to conquer the Worry Monster. Also, the companion book for parents Making Your Worrier a Warrior, which provides useful  methods parents can use to help their children create an anxiety-reducing "toolbox". Parents might even find that these strategies work effectively to manage their own anxieties. Dr.Peters, a licensed psychologist, is co-founder and Clinical Director of the Summit Center which specializes in, gifted, talented, and creative individuals.They provide educational and psychological assessments, consultations, and treatment for children, their parents, and families. His professional interests include the diagnosis and misdiagnosis of gifted and twice-exceptional (2e) individuals, helping individuals tame the "Worry Monster," and maximizing one's developmental potential.

Dr. Michael Gelb is an innovator in airway, breathing, sleep, and painful TMJ disorders pioneering Airway Centric. Dr. Gelb has studied early intervention for sleep disordered breathing (SDB) specializing in how it relates to fatigue, focus, pain, and the effects all of these can have on family health. School Struggles with Dr Richard Selznick  Dr. Elizabeth Gosch is Director of the MS Program in Counseling and Clinical Health Psychology and a core faculty member of the PsyD program in Clinical Psychology. A licensed clinical psychologist, she is board certified by the American Board of Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychology and serves as a diplomate examiner for this board. Dr. Gosch received her BA in 1987 from Grinnell College and her doctorate in clinical psychology in 1997 from Temple University. She employs an interactive teaching style, seeking to incorporate discussions of theoretical issues with real-world experience to help students master course material. She has taught doctoral courses in Behavior Therapy, Learning Theories, Practicum, and Child & Adolescent Therapy, among others. Dr. Gosch is a nationally recognized expert on clinical child psychology, anxiety disorders, and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) with youth. She has published on several topics but is best known for co-editing Anxiety Disorders: A Practioner’s Guide to Comparative Treatments and articles on the treatment of internalizing disorders in children. Dr. Gosch is currently on the editorial board of Clinical Psychology: Science and Practice. She serves as a reviewer for the Journal of Consulting and Clinical Psychology, Cognitive and Behavioral Practice, and the Behavior Therapist. She has served on the Publications Committee of the Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies. She was a co-principal investigator of an NIMH-funded study (NIMH-64484-01A1) of therapeutic process and alliance in the treatment of children with anxiety disorders.

In recent years there has been an alarming rise in the number of American children and youth assigned a mental health diagnosis. Current data from the Centers for Disease Control reveal a 41 percent increase in rates of ADHD diagnoses over the past decade and a forty-fold spike in bipolar disorder diagnoses. Similarly, diagnoses of autism spectrum disorder, once considered, has increased by 78 percent since 2002.Dr. Enrico Gnaulati, a clinical psychologist specializing in childhood and adolescent therapy and assessment, has witnessed firsthand the push to diagnose these disorders in youngsters.

Dr Derek Enlander is an internationally recognized expert in myalgic encephalomyelitis/chronic fatigue syndrome (ME/CFS) and Fibromyalgia. Born in Belfast, Northern Ireland, he became a fellow of Stanford University Medical School in the USA and later took up other prestigious positions including Physician-in-Waiting to the British Royal Family on their visits to New York, and it was here that he set up his private practice, in Manhattan. His interest in ME/CFS began when a childhood friend in Ireland contracted the illness and asked him for help. He has been researching, treating and advocating for this illness ever since. In 2011 he opened the ME/CFS Center at Mount Sinai School of Medicine (Mt. Sinai MEC), New York.
