A lot of people are scared that if they are a successful business person and have money, then suddenly they will become a snob and change into a person they don't like. I've always prayed, Lord give me as much as we can handle without breaking us. Friend, we have to stop thinking that having more money is going to make us into bad people! Being afraid that money is going to make you a jerk, it is very unlikely that money will turn you into a jerk!

Today I am so honored to interview Angelica Duncan! I remember we were having a conversation recently about leveling up in business and spiritually, and how that's when "critters" are released in your life.  Like a lot of times when I am getting ready to launch something, it feels like all heck breaks loose!! Angelica has helped me discern patterns and watch for them as I am leveling up in business. The conversation was so powerful I had to share it with you!

How do you set yourself apart as a business in a saturated market? Maybe you want to start a coffee shop but wonder how you'll stand out from all the other coffee shops in your area. Or maybe you have a business already but are feeling like you need some fresh ideas. Today I want to talk to you about filling the gap. Today I want to pose a few questions... if you are a Christian business owner, should you feel guilty about making money? Is it holier to have less money, than to be wealthy? Is having money evil? How would you answer these questions?  I've wrestled with these ideas for many years and it's something that's now one of my biggest passions to talk about. I want to get into some money mindsets that could be holding you back from what God has actually planned for your life!

I was out for a walk and The Lord gave me a word to share with you. He said to me, "this is what happens to people in life and business. They get stuck and things are stagnant." God never designed for us to stay stuck. We are supposed to be creatures in motion. The longer you stay stagnant, the harder it is to get moving again. Friend, stir yourself up. Ask yourself, what baby steps can you take to get moving again? Do the next right thing, and renew your mind and get up and go. 

Today I want to talk to you about virtual assistants. We will go over what they are, what they do, and how to know that you need one. Virtual assistants can be a game-changer for your online business! I've personally used a virtual assistant for 8 to 10 years. Friend, you don't have to be good at all the things. You just have to stay in the lane that God has called you and work with the right virtual assistant to help you fill in the gaps.

I am so grateful to God that he has given me 50 years of life. And since my 50th birthday is tomorrow, I thought it would be fun to give you five things I wish I would have known when I started my entrepreneurship journey. I've been an entrepreneur for 21 years, and have learned soooo much that I can't wait to share with you today!

I was talking about this last week in my coaching group and telling them about all the plans I have for my 50th birthday and my beach house finally closing. These are all really exciting plans, but I know I need to hold them loosely. This past month taught me that when we are in a season of vulnerability, we realize how little control we actually have.  Our security has to come from Heaven because very few things on this side of Heaven are permanent.
