InsideTheBoards: USMLE, COMLEX, and Medical School Podcast

Summary: The InsideTheBoards podcast is dedicated to helping you learn to think like a question writer so you can study smarter, not harder. Our goal is to take you "Inside" the boards. With our special series like the Step 1 Study Smarter Series, we aim to dedicate a "season" toward helping you study based on the rhythm of medical education. Throughout the year, look for special "Study Smarter" series. In the Spring it's USMLE Step 1 and COMLEX Level 1. Early Summer it's Step 2. In the late fall, we'll help you Match Smarter in your chosen specialty. But we also will pepper in shows dedicated to particular shelf exams, Step 3, and other topics relevant to those involved in medical education. New episodes every one to two weeks featuring interviews with leaders in the exam preparation space from companies like Picmonic, Memorang, USMLE-Rx, Osmosis, Firecracker, MedSchoolCoach, Sketchymedical and more. Our guests are people like Kevin Pho, Conrad Fischer, Pamela Wible, and Edward Goljan (okay, maybe we haven't had Goljan on yet, but hey, we'd like to). We give pride of place to multiple choice question "dissections" so you can succeed on the USMLE, COMLEX, shelf exams, and in med school. Most episodes feature a contest where you can win access to a high yield and relevant study resource by listening and leaving a review of the show on iTunes or applicable podcast service and sending a screenshot to podcast@insidetheboards.com Our show is especially for medical students, residents, and doctors, but nursing students, physician assistant students, and others in the health professions will also find it helpful. Really, we’re for anyone who wants to learn to how to get the most from their study by focusing not just on the content (the "what") of an exam but also the process (the "how") of taking it. Whether it's an NBME or NBOME shelf exam, USMLE, COMLEX, NCLEX, PANCE, or any other test you'll face in medicine, we want to help you succeed.
