10 LESSONS FROM MY MOM (aka America's Gangsta): Ha! | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 574

I love my Mom. She's probably THEE most fearless (in nearly every way) than anyone I know. Good ol' Brenda! Here are some pretty cool things I've learned from her over the years. 1. If you get an invitation, attend. Otherwise, don't expect people to come to your party and we all love seeing people at OUR party. 2. Speak! 3. Never date a friend's EX. 4. Never ASK permission for anything that you shouldn't be. 5. Have fun! 6. Put your PIECES on! 7. If you say something TO or ABOUT someone that would cause them to hit you in your mouth, ask yourself if you would still say if you got hit in it and if you STILL do and get hit, be ready for that too! 8. When choosing a mate, think about the kind of FATHER he will be FIRST. 9. NEVER shrink yourself. 10. Do it ANYWAY.

FINDING A MENTOR: How It REALLY Works! | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 586

This has to be hands down the #1 question I get asked so I'm going to knock this one out for you in hopes that you get a better understanding of how (I believe) mentorship REALLY works. Points: 1. Your mentor usually finds you! 2. It's good to have mentors for different things. 3. Once you have a mentor ... SUBMIT! 4. Stop asking.* (but not really ...) 5. ME. How I'm mentoring through podcasts & am at capacity due to my current needy mentees. *lol*

How To Get Ahead By READING: Pick Up A BOOK! | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 552

It's no secret that I read a lot. I know that that there are PLENTY of people that don't read. Take a look at these stats: 25% of adults will not read a single book this year 33% of high school graduates never read another book for their entire life 42% of college graduates never read another book after college 80% of US families did not buy or read a book last year That's a SAD state of affairs. I'm going to do what I always do and hit you with 5 points on what reading does for you: 1. Creates Confidence. 2. Be Deliberate.* (I will explain) 3. Vocabulary EXPANSION. 4. Increases Creativity. (*and then you can be your own person and stop copying) 5. Concentration (which leads to focus which helps you conquer goals).

STOP MAKING EXCUSES: How To Get Ahead By Getting Over It! | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 895

This one just came to me when someone commented on a short video on instagram with my Dad saying that they believed that them not having a father was a deciding factor (in exactly what I'm not sure but probably in why they haven't succeeded). So I'm going to break down: 1. Family (as African-Americans, most of us experienced generational trauma of SOME sort). 2. You don't have any money (see my last three podcasts on $$$). 3. Let's face it ... You're LAZY! 4. Stop being PETTY and a participant in DRAMA! 5. Question EVERYTHING! Take the "Is It TRUE Challenge!"

COMMON DENOMINATOR Found In Celebs & Other Successful People! | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 779

Over the years I have worked for many celebs (I consider them all to be entrepreneurs), high level excess and so on. I have read many autobiographies and worked directly for celebrities and I noticed that there were COMMON things about them that I believe led to their success. While the list is probably much longer than I can do in this podcast. I'm going to lay it out in my usual 5 points: 1. What TIME means to them. 2. How they EDIT their circle. 3. How quickly they make DECISIONS. 4. How they work on APPEARANCE/IMAGE. 5. How they develop & maintain RELATIONSHIPS.
