After the deaths of all four of her children in separate incidents from 1989 to 1999, Kathleen was tried, convicted, and sentenced to 40 years in jail. In May of 1990, Georgia high school student Rhonda Sue Coleman was driving home from a senior class activity when she disappeared. Her car was found running and with the front door open. A hunter found her body three days later. The case remains unsolved. In May of 2008, Brandon Swanson had just finished a semester of classes at a local community college. After getting his car stuck in a ditch, he called his parents to ask them to pick him up. He said he was near the town of Lynd, but his car was later found in a ditch 20 miles away.
