Then, Gene talks to BEL Contributor Nat Paul about his recent series of articles about reforming the Electoral College. It's a healthy discussion of differing points of view on the topic of why it exists, and what, if anything, should be done to change the process for upcoming Presidential elections. And, with 2020 just around the corner, now is as good of a time as any to talk about this and more.

At least according to PETA, that is. Gene brings Russ up to speed on the latest attempt at relevance by PETA in its struggle for veganism - and his response is priceless! - Sen. Cory Booker's righteous keyster getting caught up in a #HeToo accusation! Then, the show takes a break from politics to talk to best-selling author, businessman and honest-to-goodness ninja Chris Casamassa (you may know him as Scorpion from the Mortal Kombat movies and television shows!) who visits to talk about his crusade against bullying and his new book and program, Bully Proof Fitness. Chris is on a mission to educate and motivate 1,000,000 kids across the country - and we're here to help him!

We fancy ourselves connoisseurs of political buffoonery, having sat front row to so much of it in the past few years. That is why we are confident in saying, given the political news of the past week and the reactions from all sides to that news, that American political discourse has officially “jumped the shark.” No one was immune from the political hysteria, as you'll hear. The left and the right were united in lunacy, with each side committing unforced errors over political nonsense. What exactly do we mean? Tune in and find out!
