This is a quickie-cast about worrying. Why worry? Good question! In this episode, I give you an exercise to illustrate the effect worrying has on your emotional, mental, and spiritual well-being. I also talk about how this topic came up for me recently. Thanks for listening. Please check out barrymangione.com for links to my book, my music, and more!

Today's guest is my good friend Tony Mazzarella. Tony and I went to high school together and played in many different bands through our college years. He recently published his first novel, Destiny Earth: www.destinyearthbook.com Some of the topics Tony and I cover in this episode include: How Tony rediscovered his love for writing. How much of himself and his life he puts into his characters and his stories. His take on both Star Wars trilogies. The role of character depth and development in science fiction. Family life and raising kids. Tony's writing style and creative process. How doing what you love impacts those around you. How to give your bandmate an electrical shock when he's least expecting it. Do you have a book inside you waiting to be written? Maybe this episode will inspire you to get writing! Thanks for listening, and don't forget to check out all the links on www.barrymangione.com!

This episode is all about our dreams and how they get derailed. I talk about remembering how I wanted to be a superhero when I grew up, and how I lost sight of what that meant to me then and still means to me today. I also give an exercise to learn something about yourself from all the naysayers in your past - people who've told you "No, you're not. No, you can't. No, you won't." If you like this episode, please share it, and let me know what YOU wanted to be when you grew up. Drop me a line on Twitter (@barrymangione) or at firstname.lastname@example.org.
#17 - What Did You Want to Be When You Grew Up? (No Easy Answers)
Happy Valentine's Day! Of course, the No Easy Answers celebration of Valentine's Day can't be all chocolates & roses, so this episode is all about looking back into your past and asking what you've learned from your relationships. What can you take with you from all the relationships that didn't work out? Every relationship teaches us something about who we are. In this episode, I talk about a very simple exercise you can do to look at your past relationships and use what you've learned to improve your relationships and yourself going forward.
#16 - What Can We Learn from Our Ex-Lovers? (No Easy Answers)
This episode is the third in a series of audiobook/podcast crossovers that i'm calling "ChapterCasts." Instead of releasing an audiobook version of my book, No Easy Answers, I'm going to be reading each chapter myself one by one throughout this year (2015) as individual podcast episodes. Each podcast episode features questions and each chapter in my book is a question (makes sense to me). These episodes will feature less in the way of advertising or commentary, instead focusing on the reading. In this episode, I read the first chapter of the book, which features the question, "Am I Being Honest With Myself?"
#15 - Am I Being Honest With Myself? (Chapter Cast #3) (No Easy Answers)
This is another "life hack" episode, in which I talk about my 30-day "no complaints" challenge, and how monitoring when, why, and how often you complain can give you greater self-awareness and help improve your life.
#14 - Why Complain? (No Easy Answers)
Today's show is all about leadership. My guest is Mitch Mitchell. Mitch is a consultant specializing in the areas of leadership, healthcare, and finance. Like myself, Mitch also has a background in music. In this episode, we discuss personal leadership, leadership in the workplace, and leadership in the world at large. We also discuss some common misconceptions and myths people often have about what it means to be a leader, and Mitch gives some advice about how to be more productive in reaching your goals for 2015. You can find Mitch online at: http://www.ttmitchellconsulting.com/ where he has links to his blogs, his YouTube channel, and his book, "Embrace the Lead."
