 Orphan Black S4 E09 “The Mitigation of Competition” |OrphanCast Podcast | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 38:19

In episode 9 of season 4 of Orphan Black, Tatiana Maslany continues to mesmerize viewers in her many personas as the Leda sisters. This week, we saw the questionably moral Rachel play a pivotal role. Susan Duncan continues to groom Cosima — and Cosima continues to morph more and more into a mad scientist. Ira manages to survive it all in the midst of so much complexity. Helena made it back to her sisters to save the day and rattle Adele not a little bit.  We even got caught up on the state of Delphine. Poor Felix continues to have his hands full. Please subscribe to the “OrphanCast” feed for more and please feel rate and review the podcast so we show up in those pesky search results, which tend to be driven by exceedingly opaque discovery algorithms.  Get ready, #cloneclub — the season 4 finale recap is coming soon.

 Orphan Black S4 E07 “The AntiSocialism of Sex” |OrphanCast Podcast | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 42:18

At last —  a new episode of the OrphanCast Podcast is ready for your listening pleasure,  #CloneClub.  We thought “The Antisocialism of Sex” deserved many birthday cupcakes! Our recap of episode seven of season four of Orphan Black offered few happy endings for our crew.  Cosima is busy moping over Kendall and Delphine — in between research — and growing her plants. Sarah lets loose in ways that only she seems to be able to carry off with poise. What’s Dizzy’s motivation for being around Sarah? When Dizzy seems like the sane one, you’re in trouble.  It was great to see a guest cameo by the fabulous Peaches. Felix is trying to protect multiple Leda clones at one.  We discovered that Rachel is funny when she insults “brother” Ira. Wonder how Donnie will do in jail. Please subscribe to the “OrphanCast” feed for more and please feel rate and review the podcast so we show up in those pesky search results, which tend to be driven by exceedingly opaque discovery algorithms.  Put that birthday cupcake down and listen now!

Orphan Black S4 E06 “The Scandal of Altruism” | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 37 minutes

We’ve checked and we’ve been 100% cleared of any robot maggot worms, so it’s safe to listen to this latest episode of the OrphanCast Podcast. Well, #CloneClub this recap of episode six of season four of Orphan Black — called “The Scandal of Altruism” — offered few happy endings for our crew.  It’s a race against time for Cosima as she raises doubts of ever being able to find a cure in time to save her from whatever illness is plaguing her. Sarah acts in an incredibly impulsive way that puts Kendall in direct danger — as well as all of the Leda clones. What’s her deal? Art and Felix are doing Donnie’s work by making sure they do whatever they can to protect Krystal Goderitch. Did we finally learn the fate of Delphine? On thing we definitely discovered: Ira (Ari Millen) is a Libra, which makes total sense if you think about it. Please subscribe to the “OrphanCast” feed for more and please feel rate and review the podcast so we show up in those pesky search results, which tend to be driven by exceedingly opaque discovery algorithms, crude as Kendall’s sense of humor.  Put that mace away and listen now!

 Orphan Black S4 E05 “Human Raw Material” | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 41:40

Put down that Armani suit right now and hustle on over to this latest episode of the OrphanCast Podcast. Send in the #cloneclub because episode five of season four of Orphan Black — called “Human Raw Material” — had more meat to it than one of Mrs. S’s (Maria Doyle Kennedy) hearty stews. Krystal came back with a bang as she mixed martial arts, healing arts and tabloid exposés on “eyelid teeth ” and whatnot.  We got to see some gnarly revelations about the nefarious Susan Duncan (Rosemary Dunmore) involving her Castor clone “protege” — Ira (Ari Millen). Please subscribe to the “OrphanCast” feed for more and please feel rate and review the podcast so we show up in those search results, which tend to be driven by baroque algorithms, crude like a maggot robot. Please, for the love of all that’s good and holy, Donnie desperately needs your fashion advice.

Orphan Black S4 E04 “From Instinct to Rational Control” | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 35:50

Hotter than a lovers’ frittata sizzling on a cast iron frying pan,  it’s time for another podcast recap of the OrphanCast podcast, dear #CloneClub! What did you think of “From Instinct to Rational Control” — episode 4 of season 4 of Orphan Black? We definitely encountered a lot of revelations with clones and characters, old and new. Still haven’t figured out who Dizzy really “izzy” (pun intended). Alison continues to be a driving force in uncovering answers to all our questions. She also has a great singing voice. Poor Helena baffles us with some of her choices, but we love her anyway. Ferdinand is the kind of villain who is hard to despise, though M.K. might see that differently. Please subscribe to the “OrphanCast” feed for more and please feel free to rate and review the podcast so we show up in those complex search results. Felix wouldn’t want us to mince this recap paragraph any further so we’ll be back next week to discuss the rest of the story, which seems to always leave us with more questions than answers.

 Orphan Black S4 E02 “Transgressive Border Crossing” | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 0:00

Hello, dear #CloneClub. “Transgressive Border Crossing” —Orphan Black Season 4 Episode 2 — took us from the icy fjords of Iceland to the very dystopian underbelly of Toronto, with lots of stops in between. Helena is back and so are a few of our other favorites like Felix as well as not so favorites — i.e., wormy alien creature-like cheek implants. Listen to our podcast recap of this episode as we ponder the practicality of comic book stores that moonlight as laboratories, mysterious sonograms that yield surprises and sheep masks that look a lot like sheep dip. Please subscribe to the “OrphanCast” feed, rate and review. Like Alison’s aerobic workouts, you know the drill!
